🐢💦 A Special Visit from Rackley Swimming! 💦🐢

We had a wonderful visit today from Charlotte, Emily and Trevor the Turtle from Rackley Swimming Acacia Ridge!

Charlotte read the children a fantastic story, “Trev’s Adventures”, before getting everyone involved in a fun game of “Trevor Says!”

The children had a wonderful time listening, joining in and learning all about swimming and water safety.

A huge thank you to Charlotte, Emily and Trevor for visiting us at Coopers Plains Childcare Centre — we loved having you!

🎉 Pajama Party Fun in Kindy! 💤✨

What a wonderful day we had in Kindy! Our children arrived in their comfy pajamas, ready for a day full of smiles and excitement. We enjoyed spending time together in our cosy Kindy room, sharing laughter and making special memories with our friends.

The highlight of the day was our Disco Party! 🕺💃 The children loved dancing to their favourite songs, showing off their best dance moves, and enjoying the fun atmosphere. It was fantastic to see everyone smiling, laughing, and celebrating together.

Thank you to all our families for helping make our Pajama Party such a special day. We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! 💙

🧸 Teddy Bears’ Picnic in Kindy! 🧺

Today our Kindy children had a wonderful time celebrating Teddy Bears’ Picnic Day! Everyone brought along their favourite teddy bear to join in the fun.

We started the day by reading a lovely teddy bear story together, encouraging children’s listening skills, imagination, and language development. Afterwards, we headed outside to our beautiful yard for a real picnic with our cuddly friends. The children enjoyed sharing conversations, practising social skills, and spending quality time together in nature.

It was a joyful day filled with stories, laughter, friendship, and plenty of teddy bear cuddles! 🧸☀️💚

🐞🐜 Insects Week in Kindy! 🦋🐝

Today our Kindy children enjoyed exploring an insect sensory tray filled with flowers, leaves, sand, and bugs. Using magnifying glasses, they became little scientists as they searched for insects and looked closely at their features.

This fun hands-on experience supported children's curiosity, observation skills, language development, and connection with nature. 🌿🔍

🍩 **Doughnut Day at Kindy!** 🍩

Today was a deliciously fun Doughnut Day at Kindy! The children became little artists as they painted and decorated their very own doughnuts using real dough. There were colourful creations, big smiles, and lots of imagination on display.

Everyone showed their creativity and individuality, making each doughnut unique and special. This activity supported the children's fine motor skills, self-expression, and confidence while encouraging them to explore colours, textures, and creative ideas.

What a sweet and fun-filled day of learning and creating together!

This Saturday, St David's Neighbourhood Centre is hosting their annual Autumn Fest! 🍂🎨

Our Pre-Prep children have been very busy creating some fantastic artwork to enter into the community art competition, and we couldn’t be prouder of their creativity and enthusiasm.
