We are a friendly, affordable and family-oriented sailing club on the Brisbane River near Orleigh Park West End. All visitors are welcome!

The Club races a fleet of Lasers, Herons, Pacers, Tasars and NS14s. You are welcome to hire one of our club boats at very affordable rates, or bring your own dinghy to sail with us.

Registration is now open for the 2026 Women & Girls Regatta' at Humpybong Yacht Club. This is the only event of its kind in SE QLD and caters for all off-the-beach classes, and it has a junior division.

A great event each year. Great sailing, coaching and fun!!

SBSC is looking for new Instructors to teach our junior classes here on the river.
We run classes from beginner to Green Fleet on Saturdays and Sundays, with the occasional holiday clinics.
There is a holiday class in late January where potential new instructors can ride along, giving you a chance to meet the SBSC team.
