Humble Be Workshop

Humble Be Workshop busy pollinating www.humblebe.net.au It is a place where people, materials and ideas come and go and where creativity grows legs.

Humble Be Workshop is a platform for the exposure of creative works, ideas and objects focused around ecological design, self sufficiency and a general appreciation and understanding of our place in our world. The workshop is a place of growth, communication, transition, education, experimentation, action, and renewal. The focus of the workshop is to realign the attitudes and impacts of people in Brisbane and beyond through the active encouragement of inquiry into our lifestyles and our habits. It aims to engage people in the processes of learning and the understanding of both themselves and their surroundings, and to reveal to what size and shape they can fashion their autonomy. The framework for these experiences and activities lies within architectural and design methodology and theory, permacultural and deep ecological pilosophies, the psychological filter that artistic expression provides, and the empowerment and learning potential that 'getting your hands dirty' offers.
