Mother’s Day Magic 💗 A tiny spark of love begins before we are even born
In this special Itty Bitty Stars learning experience, children explore the wonder of life before birth.
We talk about how mums grow babies in their tummies and discover the early stages of development — from a tiny heartbeat, to growing fingers and toes, and the important role of the umbilical cord in keeping baby connected to mum.
This experience is supported by our original song “A Tiny Spark of Love,” helping children connect emotionally to the idea that love, care, and connection begin from the very start of life.
We also acknowledge that “mum” can mean many special people, including birth mums, step mums, foster mothers, aunties, grandmothers, and other caring mother figures.
Through this experience, children develop:
• Early science understanding
• Emotional awareness and connection
• Language and communication skills
• Curiosity and wonder
A meaningful way to celebrate Mother’s Day through learning, love, and discovery 💗

🎨 Learning shapes has never been this fun…
Shape, Space & Size 🎨
In this playful Itty Bitty Stars learning moment, children explore early mathematics by painting colourful shapes inside their “houses.”
Using yellow circles, green triangles, and blue squares, children guess, trace, and move their bodies to follow each shape. Through these big movements, they learn about direction, size, and how their bodies move through space.
With our original “Painting Colours” song, this activity blends music, movement, and maths into one engaging experience.
Through this activity, children develop:
• Shape recognition and early maths skills
• Spatial awareness and direction
• Gross motor coordination
• Listening and pattern following
A fun and active way to learn through movement and play 🎨
