What a great day we had yesterday at our Flute Performers Day. So many young flutists coming along to play beautiful music for us with Mia H supporting as a collaborative artist. The day was wrapped with the finale of the James Carson Memorial Scholarship Prize, which was won by Amanda W. Congratulations to all our finalists. Finally, our community Flute Choir dazzled with three fantastic compositions, conducted by the infallible Monash Lal. UQ were wonderful hosts for this event and so gracious with their sponsorship of our events.
