What a day! β˜€οΈ Today, many of our OLHC students made the early start and headed off to QSAC to compete at the Zones Athletics Carnival.

The incredible size of the track may have been a little daunting, but our athletes certainly weren’t! πŸ’š They stepped onto the track and field with confidence, determination and a willingness to give every event their very best. Competing against students from many schools, our OLHC athletes performed incredibly well and represented our school with such pride.

A very big thank you to our incredible staff and parents who supported our students throughout the day, cheered loudly from the stand and helped make the experience such a special one. πŸ‘πŸ’š

We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you! You showed Faith, Courage and Action in everything you did today. 🌟

πŸ’šπŸ™ Senior Formation Day πŸ™πŸ’š

Today, our Senior Years students attended a Formation Day, taking time to deepen their relationship with Jesus through music, stories, prayer and reflection.

Throughout the day, students embraced the opportunity to connect with their faith in a fun and engaging way, enthusiastically learning new songs and joining in with energetic actions and dance. It was wonderful to see so much joy, participation and school spirit on display.

Formation Days provide our students with valuable opportunities to grow not only in their faith, but also as compassionate and confident leaders. As our senior students continue their leadership journey at OLHC, they are encouraged to lead by example, serve others with kindness and courage, and inspire those around them through their words and actions.

πŸŽ„β€οΈ Christmas Cheer for a Wonderful Cause β€οΈπŸŽ„

Yesterday, the OLHC community came together dressed in their best Christmas outfits in support of the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal.

It was a wonderful way to end Week 3, filling our school with festive joy while raising much-needed funds to support individuals and families in our local community who are experiencing hardship.πŸ’ž

The spirit of Christmas was truly alive as our students and staff embraced the opportunity to give back, reminding us that the greatest gifts we can share are kindness, compassion and generosity. Seeing the playground filled with Christmas colours, smiling faces and joyful hearts was a wonderful reflection of our school's values and this year's Catholic Education Week theme, "Share Your Light, Inspire Others."✨

A very big thank you to everyone who supported this special day. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference to those in need.

Wishing everyone a little Christmas spirit, no matter the season! πŸŽ…πŸŽβœ¨

β˜€οΈπŸ’š Sharing Kindness in Our Community πŸ’šβ˜€οΈ

Today, it was our Prep students' turn to take to the streets of Hendra, soaking up the beautiful sunshine as they delivered their heartfelt, handwritten messages of kindness to members of our local community.πŸ’

Smiles filled their faces as they walked from letterbox to letterbox, sharing messages of hope, kindness and love during Catholic Education Week. Through this simple but meaningful act, our youngest learners embraced this year's theme, "Share Your Light, Inspire Others," reminding us all that even the smallest gesture can brighten someone's day.πŸŒŸπŸ’š
