We’re officially a Waste Smart Kindy! ♻️

Today, our service was honoured to receive a plaque and banner from the Brisbane City Council in recognition of our commitment to being a Waste Smart Kindy. We are incredibly proud to be the 44th childcare service in Brisbane to join this important initiative.

As part of the program, we are dedicated to teaching children about recycling, waste reduction, and sustainable practices. We believe that developing these habits early helps build a better future for our community and our planet.

Thank you to all our educators, families, and little learners for supporting us on this journey toward a greener, cleaner world! 🌏💚

Bastille Day ! 🥐🥖🧀 🇫🇷

NAIDOC WEEK

Today we had a visit from Who Gives A Cluck a charity that rescues and rehomes hens from the egg laying industry. The children enjoyed patting the hens, learning how to care for them and even got to do a painting with them 🐓

Happy Holi! Today we celebrated the Hindu Festival of Colour. The children loved playing with the coloured powder, we all had so much fun 🌈

As part of our Kindergarten program, we support children's physical development through a free weekly My First Gym session. Recently, the children participated in an engaging session led by Coach Mimi, where they practiced their balance skills by standing on one leg, balancing on one leg while reaching for a cone, and walking along a makeshift tightrope made of skipping ropes. They also walked along planks, balanced bean bags on their heads, and attempted to walk backwards along the plank.💪🏋️‍♂️ strong bodies, strong minds.

Today, the children from Pooh Bears room went around handing out the cards they had made expressing their appreciation for everything the educators do for us.
