Are you interested in developing your drawing skills in 2022? Isabella Allis Art Classes is now enrolling for term 1 2022! Starting from Monday 31 January 2022, Isabella will be running a structured drawing course over 8 weeks for adults (or 15 year +). The first half of the course will cover fundamental concepts and related drawing exercises so that you can experience these techniques in practice. Following this introductory section, you will then be able to bring all these techniques together in a finished graphite drawing and a charcoal drawing. Isabella will provide a reference for both these drawings and guide you through the sequential steps of effectively applying these different drawing mediums. Ringing in the changes for 2022!

After 12 years of operating Atelier Art Classes, Nick Leavey will be stepping away from the role, and will be handing over the reins to Amber Simpson Artist, a long time resident artist at the studios.

Whilst Amber will be bringing changes to the way the studio runs, many of the teachers who work here, including Nick, will be continuing next year. In addition, we can look forward to a wider variety of teaching styles, and a new wealth of arts workshops, and social events.

Charcoal Tonal Drawing will be my next workshop at Atelier Art Classes helf over 2 Tuesday evenings on 7 & 14 December 2021. We will focus on using charcoal to develop a broader range of tone to create the illusion of 3 dimensional form .
