Changes to the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) are coming into effect, and we encourage all families to review their CCS details through their MyGov account and ensure their family income estimate is up to date to help avoid any unexpected adjustments.

Our learning focus in the kindergarten program this week was the Life of Plants. Together, we discovered how a tiny seed grows into a plant and eventually produces fruit.
Each child planted their own seed and carefully followed the steps from softening the soil with water, planting the seed, and gently covering it with soil. Over the coming weeks, we will observe and record the growth of our plants.
Knowing how much the children enjoy cutting and pasting activities, we also created a simple Plant Life Cycle sequence. The children cut out and arranged the pictures in the correct order, showing how a seed grows into a sprout, a plant, a flower, and eventually produces fruit with new seeds inside.

Our kindergarten children recently had the privilege of attending the Under 8's Day Celebrations at Our Lady Help Of Christians Primary School, Hendra, where they participated in various engaging activities, including storytelling, creative art experiences, gross motor skills development through traditional games, and interactive displays from emergency services visitors.

Our nursery children had a wonderful time engaging with different animal books. They listened to the stories and showed great curiosity as they explored the colourful pictures and touched the different textures throughout the books. Some babies carefully used their hands to feel the soft and bumpy textures, while others enjoyed looking closely at the animal images. These experiences support the babies’ sensory development and early language skills.
