🦷✨ Yesterday we welcomed Dental2you to our service for their annual dental check-ups!

The children did a wonderful job being brave, cooperative, and curious throughout their visits. Experiences like these help children become familiar with dental care in a positive and supportive environment while promoting healthy habits that can last a lifetime.
A big thank you to the Dental2U team for making the experience fun, friendly, and stress-free for our little learners. 😊

We are so proud of all our children for their beautiful smiles and confidence! 😁πŸͺ₯✨

Today the children explored creativity and movement by using toy cars dipped in paint to create colourful tracks across Cardboard.
There was lots of excitement as they pushed, rolled and steered the cars, watching the wheels leave different patterns behind. This hands-on experience encouraged imagination, fine motor development and early mark-making skills while also supporting teamwork and sharing of materials.

A fun and messy learning experience that brought big smiles all around. πŸš—πŸŽ¨

🌿🏑 Look what our Junior Kindy children created at Bush Kindy today!

Using only sticks, branches, and their imaginations, the children worked together to design and build their very own bush house. Through teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, and plenty of determination, they transformed natural materials into a special space they were proud to call their own.

Bush Kindy provides endless opportunities for children to explore, collaborate, and connect with nature while developing important life skills through play and discovery.

What an incredible effort from our Junior Kindy children! We love seeing their confidence, creativity, and teamwork shine in the great outdoors. 🌱✨

Today, the children had a wonderful time developing their fine motor skills using rubber bands and pin boards! By stretching and placing the rubber bands around the pins, they created a variety of shapes and patterns while strengthening the small muscles in their hands and fingers.

This engaging activity also encouraged shape recognition as the children identified and discussed different shapes such as squares, triangles, rectangles. Through hands-on exploration, they practiced problem-solving, concentration, and creativity while having fun learning.

Well done, everyone! πŸŒŸπŸ”ΊπŸŸ¦πŸ”Ά

πŸŒ§οΈβ˜” Sandpit Play in the Rain β˜”πŸŒ§οΈ

Our sandpit turned into a wonderful sensory adventure as the rain joined our play! The children explored textures, built muddy creations, dug channels, and discovered how the sand changes when it’s wet.

Rainy-day play gives us so many rich learning opportunities supporting creativity, imagination, problem-solving, and fine motor development while encouraging children to connect with nature.

At The Woods, we love embracing all weather as part of our learning journey. πŸ’›πŸŒΏ
