🌊🐢 What an INCREDIBLE day at our service today! 🦈⭐️

Our little explorers had the most amazing hands-on experience learning all about ocean life! The children were so excited to see, learn about, and even gently touch some fascinating sea creatures 🐚✨

Today we met:
🌟 Black Sea Cucumbers
🌟 Sand Sea Stars
🌟 Short Spined Urchins
🌟 Blue Sea Stars
🐢 Tully the Salt Water Turtle
🦈 And we even got to see a Bamboo Shark!

There were so many smiles, curious questions, and brave little hands as the children discovered more about marine life and the importance of caring for our oceans 🌏💙

A huge thank you to our special visitors for bringing such a fun, interactive, and educational experience to our service today. We absolutely loved every minute of it! 🌊🐠

🌟 Room Spotlight: Senior Toddlers 🌟

Shining a light on our wonderful educators, Miss Anam and Miss Alice, who lead our Senior Toddlers room with so much care, passion, and dedication. 💛

With over 10 years of combined experience in early childhood education, these two bring a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and warmth into their space each and every day. From engaging learning experiences to nurturing strong relationships with our children and families, they truly create a home away from home. 🌈

Their room is always filled with laughter, curiosity, and meaningful play, where every child is supported to grow, explore, and thrive at their own pace. 🌱✨

We are so lucky to have such an amazing duo guiding our little learners through these important early years!

Today our children dove into a world of creativity using playdough, animals, and loose parts! 🐘🦒

From building tiny habitats to creating their own animal adventures, the possibilities were endless. Sticks became shelters, gems turned into treasure, and playdough transformed into anything their minds could imagine! 🌈✨

This type of play supports fine motor development, storytelling, problem-solving, and encourages children to explore and express their ideas in their own unique way. 💭💛

We love watching their little worlds come to life! 🌏

🌿🎨 Creativity is growing wild! 🎨🌿

Our little artists have been busy turning a massive tree branch into a beautiful masterpiece! Using paint, imagination, and lots of teamwork, the children explored textures, colours, and nature all in one fun experience. 🌈

From tiny brush strokes to big, bold splashes, every child added their own special touch—bringing this natural treasure to life! 🍃✨

Experiences like this not only spark creativity but also encourage collaboration, sensory play, and a deeper connection to the world around us. 💚

We can’t wait to see how this masterpiece continues to grow! 🌳

💙 We’re Walking for Autism this May! 💙

This May, the whole team at Kids Academy Redbank Plains will be taking part in Walk for Autism! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Throughout the month, our educators are challenging ourselves to walk 7,000 steps every day to help raise awareness and show our support for individuals and families living with autism. Every step we take is about promoting understanding, inclusion and celebrating the uniqueness of every individual. 🌈

Our entire team will be participating, coming together for this meaningful cause and showing our commitment to building an inclusive community for all children and families. 💙

🌮👨‍🍳 Something Delicious is Cooking at Kids Academy Redbank Plains!

Our amazing chef Toby has been busy in the kitchen creating nutritious and delicious meals for our children to enjoy every day!

One of our big hits lately has been the Chicken Nacho Bowls 😋
Packed with flavour and made with fresh ingredients, this delicious meal was enjoyed by many happy little faces at lunchtime.

We love seeing the children explore new flavours while enjoying wholesome meals that help fuel their busy days of learning and play.

🌿 Our Village Pantry is Back! 🌿

We are so excited to be bringing back Our Village Pantry to support our beautiful community of families.

At our service, we truly believe that it takes a village to raise a child, and this little pantry is just one way we can support each other along the way.

💛 What is Our Village Pantry?
Our Village Pantry is a small community pantry located at the service where families can access everyday household staples if they need a little extra support. Items may include things like pasta, rice, cereal, canned goods, toiletries and other basic essentials.

🤝 How does it work?
It’s simple — take what you need, when you need it.
There are no questions asked and no expectations. The pantry is here for any family who might benefit from a helping hand.

🌱 Want to contribute?
Families are always welcome to donate non-perishable items if they wish. Every small contribution helps us continue supporting one another as a community.

Our goal is to create a space that reflects kindness, care and community, where families feel supported and never alone.

✨ Because when one family is supported, our whole village grows stronger.

Today we celebrated International Women’s Day with a special pink and purple spread for our amazing team!

We are so lucky to work alongside such strong, passionate and caring women who show up every day to support our children, families and each other.
