It’s been a while and Little Darlings have certainly grown.
We bake a lot and today was all about seeded bread. Want the recipe? It’s a Thermomix delight but I’m sure you can just use a bowl and spatula.

I love these!!!
The original post got so many negative responses. It always amazes me that so many people take constructive advice or in this case, knowledge about child development personally. Nobody says YOU do these things, they’re gentle reminders as to why many children don’t listen. I learned as a teacher that children follow one step instructions and build up to follow more as they develop.
So have a read and know that you are an amazing parent and these slides just act as reminders about child development!
End of day cookie making or is cookie dough squishing & eating ….

Weekends are for snacks and a lot of mixed up colour.
Painting exercises your child’s brain. Creative activities like painting, use a different part of the brain than reading and or math. The right side of the brain is our creative half and responsible for visual skills and understanding what we see through our eyes (which is still developing at the preschool age). Creative play and painting activities help exercise your child’s “right” brain leading to an overall healthy brain development.
