A special congratulations goes to our Year 4 students who represented our school at the Forest Lake State High School Science Extravaganza. They put their scientific thinking, teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test—and we are incredibly proud to announce that they won 1st place!

Well done, Year 4! What an amazing achievement and a wonderful way to showcase your curiosity, creativity and love of Science.

🕺✨ P&C CPSS DISCO ✨💃

What an amazing night at our 70's School Disco! 🪩 We hope everyone had as much fun as we did! 🎶🕺💃

We are so excited to share that the disco raised around $1,600 gross! 🎉💰 A fantastic result for our first disco of this kind! 🙌

It was also our first time offering show bags 🛍️, and they were a huge hit, with 90+ show bags sold. 🤩

And the fairy floss was flying out the door, with an incredible 121 fairy floss sold! 🍭☁️

A huge thank you to all our wonderful students, families, staff and P&C volunteers for helping make the night such a success. 💙💛 Your support makes these events possible and helps us continue to support our school! 🏫✨

Book Week 2026 is just around the corner!

🌟 A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Speech-Language Pathologist 🌟
At CPSS, we are incredibly fortunate to have an amazing Speech-Language Pathologist as part of our team. Her expertise, dedication, and compassion play a vital role in supporting our students’ learning and well-being every single day.

We want to take this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to Miss Emma for the incredible difference you make in the lives of our students and the entire school community. Your commitment and care are truly appreciated, and we are so lucky to have you on our team!

Murri Kids in the Park' held at Kyabra Richlands Community Centre at the beginning of August, from 10am-1pm, was enjoyed by the families who had participated in the event. There were lots to do for children under 5 years, where there were stalls, music and art activities provided for the families. Our 'tuff table' activities had children play with rice, as well as using tweezers to pick up pom poms to put in bowls.
We Thank Mrs Phillips for taking the time for our community.
