We thank Ms Treloar for her commitment to our band students this semester. Parents were provided the opportunity to watch their child's progress, and what a show it was! Well done to all band students.

Tomorrow!

Talk about celebrations of learning! This week we were invited into classrooms to look at the students work and celebrate achievements no matter how big or small.
We were delighted to see all of the information reports in the 3/ 4 space about our solar system- To the moon and back!! Next, we saw the Sea Turtle experts in Mrs Lilley's class where they received official certification of their skills.

Friendly reminder that there will be no Playgroup until next term. Playgroup will return in Term 3, Week 1 on Wednesday 15 July.

We hope everyone enjoys a safe and relaxing break, and we look forward to welcoming all our Playgroup families back then!

As we wrap up Playgroup for the term, we would like to acknowledge the work Mrs Phillips puts into the families and little ones. Below are some activities that we enjoy at playgroup and we would love to see more families come and join in the fun.

Pole tennis activity anyone?! Even from a young age, children show curiosity to their surroundings and explore what they have seen others do.(Early Years Learning Framework: Outcome 4 - Children are confident and involved learners - children develop dispositions for learning such as curiosity, cooperation, confidence, creativity, commitment, enthusiasm, persistence, imagination and reflexivity).

Using contact to place materials onto it is a great way in expressing what they feel (sticky) and problem solve how to manipulate the material. Mum is role modelling how to use the materials during the activity, whilst William is observing and participating at his own pace. (Early Years Learning Framework: Outcome 1 - Children have a strong sense of identity - children feel safe, secure, and supported).
