Year 4 Camp 2026

What an incredible camp experience for our Year 4 students! Over the past three days, students challenged themselves, developed confidence and created memories that will last a lifetime.

Year 4 Camp – Day 2

Another fantastic day of adventure, challenge and teamwork at camp! Students showed courage and resilience as they tackled activities including giant swing, crate stack, aeroball and initiatives.

It has been wonderful to see students stepping outside their comfort zones, encouraging one another and demonstrating our HEART values throughout the day.

Year 4 Camp - Day 1

What a fantastic first day of camp for our Year 4 students! Students embraced new challenges, worked together, showed resilience and had plenty of fun along the way. We are so proud of the way they have represented Fig Tree Pocket State School and can’t wait to see what Day 2 brings!

This week, students marked National Sorry Day and National Reconciliation Week through learning about truth-telling, reconciliation, Country and local history.

Students have listened to stories, participated in Walking on Country experiences, created hibiscus flowers for National Sorry Day, planted a Bush Tucker garden and have begun sharing their ideas through bird mascot and totem designs.

We are proud of the curiosity, respect and thoughtfulness shown throughout the week as students reflected on the importance of listening, learning and walking forward together.

Today we stepped out in style to celebrate National Walk Safely to School Day at Fig Tree Pocket State School!

Students were invited to wear their brightest and funkiest socks as we celebrated the importance of active school travel, road safety and healthy habits.

A big thank you to our families for supporting safe and active travel to school and to our students for bringing so much colour, fun and HEART to the morning!

Mother's day stall will be open from 8am - 9am in the hall kitchen TOMORROW! (Friday, 08 May 2026)

Students, siblings, parents, carers, teachers (everyone) all welcome to come and buy for mums, grannies, sisters, teachers (or themselves).

Cash and card accepted.

Our Mother’s Day stall is ready for lots of keen thoughtful students to purchase gifts for their loved ones. We have a wonderful parent support crew who live and breathe our values though their actions and service to the community.
