What an unforgettable few days at Kenmei Gakuen! 🇯🇵

Our students embraced the opportunity to experience everyday Japanese school life, joining classes in English, Mathematics, Japanese, Music and Gym, taking part in the daily cleaning routine, and even giving Flag Football a go!

Along the way, they made new friends, practised their Japanese, experienced new traditions and enjoyed plenty of cultural exchange. A visit to the Sakai City Museum also gave students the chance to learn about the fascinating history of the Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group before farewelling their new friends with gifts and messages of thanks.

A huge thank you to our wonderful hosts at Kenmei for their warmth, kindness and generosity. These are memories our students will carry with them for many years to come.

Welcoming Our Newest SPIS Students!

SPS was honoured to welcome 13 new long-term students, including 3 Junior School students and 10 HSP/Senior School students, on campus for their first orientation! From Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Papua New Guinea, and Korea, these students have come far to be a part of our School.

We are so excited to have them join us and look forward to watching them flourish during their long-term stay with us!

🇯🇵 Konnichiwa from Year 6 🇯🇵

After months of anticipation, our Japan adventure is finally underway! Last week, 18 students and 5 staff departed Brisbane, excited to begin an unforgettable 11-day educational experience.

From travelling on the Shinkansen and exploring Osaka Castle to an action-packed day at Universal Studios Japan and hands-on experiences at KidZania Koshien, our students have embraced every moment of their Japan adventure so far!
