Student vacation starts tomorrow, so we asked students what they’re planning for the break 🥳
From trips around Australia to overseas programs, work placement plans, birthday celebrations and heading home to spend time with family and friends, everyone had something different to look forward to!
Some are using the break to explore, some to reset and some to reconnect with the people they love.
Wherever this break takes you, we hope you enjoy it ❤️
What are your holiday plans?

A time to recognise the strength, resilience and contributions of refugees and humanitarian entrants in communities around the world.

Something exciting is coming…
Stay tuned!
Job interviews can feel stressful, especially when you’re preparing for your next opportunity...
We asked Griffith staff to share one interview tip for students getting ready for their next opportunity!
Their advice?
1. Know your skills
2. Be curious
3. Do your research
4. Ask for clarification
A simple reminder that interviews are not just about giving the “perfect” answer. They’re also a chance to show who you are, what you can bring and how you think ❤️
Save this for your next interview 💼
Part 2: a taste of home on the Gold Coast 🍜🍣
Rumi took us to JFX, one of her favourite Japanese restaurants on the Gold Coast, for a taste of home!
From Matsuyama to the Gold Coast, familiar food, good friends and local Japanese restaurants have helped Rumi feel more at home ❤️
What food reminds you of home?
Can you find food on the Gold Coast that reminds you of home? 🍜
We met Rumi, an international student from Matsuyama in Japan, and asked if she had found a place that brings back a taste of home!
Rumi took us to JFX, a Japanese restaurant on the Gold Coast, where we sat down for lunch and talked about food, home and student life in Australia ❤️
Wait for the first bite… Part 2 coming tomorrow 🍣
