Our Gift of the Week is.......Optimistic

At Nundah State School, we believe optimism is a mindset we can grow. We encourage our students to take ownership of their thinking with the motto, “If it is to be, it is up to me.”

This week will provide many opportunities for students to practise optimism in action. Our Year 4 students will head off to camp, ready to embrace new experiences, challenges and adventures. Our Year 6 students will visit Parliament House, while our Prep students will enjoy a special incursion at school. We will also celebrate Principal’s Day and acknowledge the leadership, encouragement and support provided across our school community.

Optimism helps us see challenges as opportunities and believe in our ability to shape our future. By choosing positive thoughts and actions, students can create better outcomes for themselves and those around them. When things go well, they can reflect on their effort and build on that success.

Let’s continue lifting one another up with hope, confidence and a positive outlook.
