Weโre at the Adelaide Careers & Employment Expo for the 3rd and final day this week. ๐ซ
Flight One School of Engineering is attending at the Adelaide Showground, joining 200+ organisations and employers across training, education, defence, space, trades and career pathways.
Come and talk to us about what aircraft engineering actually involves.
It's not designing planes on a computer. Aircraft maintenance engineers are the people who inspect, repair, test and maintain aircraft so they can fly safely. If you like working with your hands, solving practical problems, using tools, and understanding how machines work, this career path may be worth a serious look.
Our team will be there to talk through:
โ๏ธ Aircraft engineering as a trade pathway
๐ง The MEA20418 Certificate II in Aeroskills for high school students
๐ ๏ธ Hands-on training at Adelaide Airport
๐ SACE credit and VET in Schools options
๐ Pathways into apprenticeships, aviation, defence, manufacturing and other technical industries
South Australia has strong aviation, defence and space industries โ and they all need people with practical technical skills.
Come say hello and ask us what it takes to start.

Congrats to Flight One School of Engineering for recently being shortlisted as a finalist in the Defence & National Security Workforce Awards 2026. ๐ซ
This prestigious awards programme is dedicated to recognising the exceptional individuals, teams and initiatives that are shaping the future of Australiaโs defence and national security landscape, providing them with a career-elevating exposure they deserve.
