Hi Everyone! Exciting but also sad news is I'm stepping away from my desk for the next 8 weeks so I can focus solely on going on stage for my first Bodybuilding event in September.
As a Mindset coach I always look for personal growth and for the last two years I have been focusing on my identity, health and my own mindset with a big goal of stepping on stage.
Stepping out of your comfort zone is always where I like to see clients go to grow and I will definitely be living in the uncomfortable zone over the next 6 weeks so allowing myself the time to enjoy this space and watch the transformation.

If you had asked me two years ago to post a pic of myself and talk about myself on social media I would have crawled inward and dismissed the idea instantly because I would feel a a strong sense of not wanting to be seen.

The more I coach women the more I realise this is a common thought pattern and it's all the pressure we put on ourselves because we feel we don't meet expectations of society and don't want to be compared.
I mean really!
Most women these days maintain the household, are the glue in the home for relationships, some also have a career and still feel like they're not enough!
The balancing act of being enough for society and yourself can be a rough gig but the journey starts with you. Realizing who you are on the inside,who you truly are to your core and to know that's enough.
You can't be compared with because you're perfectly you. It's about being kind to yourself and learning to love yourself with all your flaws and imperfections and knowing it's all part of this wonderful human experience you're having right now.
So next time you see yourself in the mirror or think about taking a photo of yourself do it with positive and kind thoughts about yourself and shine bright because you're here to be seen and enjoy your journey. Self love is a forever journey one that will always need to be attending too so start today! High five yourself and tell your beautiful mind what a fantastic job you are doing today!

Are your days busy or productive? What's one thing on this list you would like to start doing or spend more time doing?
It's always great to write out how you intend to spend your day, we all get the same 24 hours but it's what you intend to do with the time that matters!
What is it that you want to stop doing, continue doing or do more of? The time passes either way but the amount of energy you put into your goals will make the magic happen!

It's a bit of a vulnerability post but wanted to show you what can happen with the power of a thought.
Wanted to show you that what you focus on grows.
My one thought for 20 years used to be: No matter how HARD I focus on my health I just CAN'T seem to LOOSE weight and change my body shape.

**I never enjoyed being in my body and always gave it a hard time with negative self talk**

I blamed: having kids, working, no time to exercise, allowed past beliefs to cement my thoughts even stronger and my brain kept finding evidence to strengthen this thought pattern

See how many negative words ( in capital letters ) I loaded my brain with!!!!
Then I learnt NLP/ hypnotherapy and became a mindset coach and understood how the brain takes in information and suggestions and I realised I had programmed my own mind up for running useless mindset loop that worked against me.
My new thought is: It doesn't matter what age I am, my body is amazing and I love being in it.

** If I walk past a mirror now I smile at myself and secretly high five myself"

Because at the end of the day it doesn't matter how much you weigh, what clothes size you wear, how much muscle you have it's about how you feel about yourself inside and learning to love yourself regardless of the outside appearance is the secret to finding happiness to move in the right direction for you. Once you find joy about who you are you will take action to look after yourself.
So next time you see yourself in a mirror, don't bully yourself, tell yourself how amazing you are and compliment yourself!!! You deserve it. Your thoughts lead to feelings and your feelings drive your actions.

We all start somewhere, no point comparing yourself to others, clean up your thoughts, find a coach to help you reach your goals who believes in you and go enjoy the life you desire to have. 🙌

You will always find people that will tell you your goal isn't achievable but do you have a tribe that enable you to reach for your goals and support you along the way?

If the answer is no to having a supportive tribe perhaps find ways to find them, they are out there!
If it's a fitness goal seek out a Personal Trainer, Coach, Nutritional therapist.
If it's a business goal seek out a business mentor, business coach and invest time in yourself reading and asking people already in the business you desire how did they get there.
If it's yourself getting in your way reach out to me to help dissolve your limiting beliefs that have probably resulted since childhood age and you have taken on other people's beliefs.

Don't give up on what you truly desire because it feels scary that's when you know you're onto something worthwhile!
It's the great phrase the treasure you seek is in the cave you dare not to enter! So go and find your cave but take a tribe with you to enjoy your journey! 💪🙌

I live and breathe by this rule!
Allowing yourself the promise of doing a small action towards your goal paves the way to ensuring your end goal will happen.
We all want the better body, better pay, better eating habits etc but it doesn't happen overnight. It's about being consistent and showing up and making 1mm changes daily.
So what changes will you make tomorrow to improve from today that works for your future goals?

Sometimes our brain throws us in overwhelm or avoidance on a goal we would dearly love to accomplish but the thought of the goal just seems too much.

Perhaps it's enjoying a workout at a new gym for the first time in 10 years or the ability to run a marathon. We all have varying degrees of goals yet our brain will still love giving you reasons why it may not feel right to tackle such a goal. so my fool proof suggestion is this:

Don't tackle the whole goal! Break it down in smaller steps and what you must promise yourself is regardless of the step you will take action. This itself is a form of self-love.
It could just be driving to the new gym 3 times a week but not physically walking into the gym for the first week but your win was mentally going.
2nd week would be signing up to the gym plus driving there 1-2 times a week and 3rd week would be go to the gym when it's not busy, jump on the treadmill for 15 minutes and just look around at all the equipment. Smaller steps build confidence, gives you a great Dopamine hit and tell's the brain it's achievable!
Same with a marathon! That could look different too!
First week might be walking three times a week for 30 minutes and investing in some great runners, 2nd week might be downloading Couch to 5 km App and mastering this first and then it might look like finding like minded people to run with and doing Park Run at with your local community or finding a running group to support you.
We all have our own levels of hard! It's just a matter of taking bite sized pieces and ensuring we take consistent action with focusing on the end goal in mind, enjoy the journey along the way and celebrate your success no matter how small this may seem. A internal high five to yourself goes along way! 🙌

What you choose to eat, read, who you socialise with, where you live, what job you do and more all lead to your future happiness and joy credits in the future.
