Pretty printmaking for Art Club today. We foraged bottle brush from the garden for our native flora subject.

To help us with our printing, we studied the texture and details of these vibrant blooms - our little artists pointed out the tiny gum nuts, long pointy leaves and… “toilet brush” flowers. Never a dull moment!

These masterpieces will form part of the border for our ‘Acknowledgment of Country’ art piece…watch this space!

At Monday Before School Care, Educator Nao led our mini chefs in an onigiri making workshop.

Our 'riceballs' were carefully hand shaped and wrapped in nutrition dense nori (dried seaweed) creating a delicious and healthy Japanese breakfast.

Onigiri were gobbled up as quickly as they were rolled and declared a "breakfast of champions!"

Ever wonder how our Vacation Care program happens?!

Our kiddos provide valuable feedback and input into our program. Educators regularly facilitate sessions for children to share their thoughts, ideas, dreams and plans for what their school holidays days could look like.

Lately, we’ve been busy with think tanks on theme days for the upcoming September Vacation Care.

Working on something extra special for Art Club today in preparation for Educators’ Day next week. Our mini artists started work on their Educator portraits.

We explored how to draw basic facial proportions and features as well as colour and texture to capture the ‘essence’ of our Educators.

This arty morning was a perfect springboard for chats about the favourite activities and games that children enjoy alongside our Educators.

Can’t wait to see these masterpieces up for all to enjoy!

🎉National OSHC Day is coming up! 🎉
We need our amazing little artists & kind-hearted writers to help make it a day to remember for our educators!!!💛
We are inviting all children to create drawings or write a special notes for the educators - their favourite things about them, a happy or funny memory or just what they like about the educators!!⭐️⭐️
Parents, we would love your help with encouraging your children to bring any creations in during the next week and we will ensure they go to the right educator (don’t forget to name them!)
We can’t wait for our educators to be able to read through their notes and drawings!❤️
