Our culinary classes have been a wonderful addition, with the children really enjoying this hands on learning experience.
This week our Junior Kindy & Kindergarten helped Miss Mariz, measuring out the ingredients and then taking turns to mix them all together to make a delicious cake.
The children were excited with lots of chatter about the cake they made as they enjoyed it for afternoon tea.
Experiences like these help build children’s confidence, encourage teamwork, and develop valuable early learning skills, all while having plenty of fun with their friends. 🧁👨‍🍳

📕 Today we enjoyed a visit to Toowong State School library. The children had a wonderful time exploring the library, browsing the shelves and discovering a variety of books that sparked their imagination and interests.
Books help foster a love of reading and support the development of early literacy skills. 📚

With the start of our first culinary lesson underway, the Toddlers helped Miss Mariz mix all the ingredients together. Once the mixture was ready, Miss Mariz poured it into the cake tin before putting the mixture in the cake and placed it in the oven to bake.

🥇👏🎉 A special congratulations to our amazing Auslan Educators Whetu and Oceania, who proudly represented Queensland at the Deaf Games and returned home with an outstanding seven medals between them.
We are incredibly proud of their remarkable achievement and the way they continue to represent our community with their achievements. 🥇

What an exciting day for our little learners! They were absolutely captivated watching the workers in action. From the delivery truck pouring out loads of pebbles, to the digger then picking up the pebbles and tipping them into the pit. So many curious eyes and a morning full of learning.

A huge congratulations to Lapas on graduating and receiving her Diploma. Your hard work, dedication and determination have truely paid off.
