Outdoor play provides rich opportunities for children to develop social skills in a natural and meaningful way. As they explore their playground hide and imagine together, they practise communication and cooperation. The open environment encourages children to negotiate roles, support one another, and form strong, positive relationships. These shared experiences help them build confidence, empathy, and a sense of belonging.
Our service integrates Auslan as part of our commitment to inclusive communication, ensuring all children and staff are supported, actively engaged and able to experience positive outcomes.
Incorporating the Auslan into our daily program, supports the ongoing learning of both the children and staff, while fostering an inclusive environment for Deaf and hard of hearing individuals.

Encouraging children to care for our environment, Adeline’s Adventure Show helped the children understand not only the importance of putting rubbish in the bin, but also how to choose the correct coloured bin for different types of waste.
This experience created a wonderful opportunity for the service to discuss where our scraps and rubbish go and why responsible waste sorting matters.

Our Wildlife Rangers Animal show was a huge hit. The children were absolutely spellbound as each creature was brought out for them to pat and admire.
When the kookaburra burst into his loud, cheeky call, the whole group exploded with laughter. It was one of those unforgettable moments where every child’s face lit up with pure delight.
