💙 Jeans for Genes Day 💙
Today we proudly wore our jeans to help raise awareness and support for Jeans for Genes Australia. The excitement continued with our Kindy children's wonderful bake sale creations, including delicious blue cookies and refreshing blueberry lemonade!

The children were so proud to contribute and help raise donations for such an important cause. A big thank you to our families for their support and generosity.

Together, we're helping make a difference for children and families affected by genetic conditions. 🧬💙👖

Is your child starting school in the next year or two? Join us for an informative and practical evening with Jill Van Heerden from Kids Matters OT, an Occupational Therapist with over 25 years of experience supporting children's development, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.

During the session, Jill will share practical strategies for:
✅ Building functional independence and everyday skills
✅ Toileting readiness for the transition to school
✅ Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing
✅ Preparing your child for a confident start to Prep

There will also be time for questions and discussion, making this a valuable opportunity for parents and carers to gain expert advice and practical tips to support their child's school readiness journey.

Kids Matters Occupational Therapy

🦷 We were excited to welcome Nundah Village Dental to the service today! 🪥

Our children enjoyed learning all about dental health, healthy habits, and the importance of caring for their teeth.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and helping us make learning about oral health fun and engaging!

For Jeans for Genes day this year, the Kindy children have come up with a wonderful idea to help raise funds through a bake sale!

Today, the children proudly hand-delivered their handmade invitations to each educator, inviting them to bring a gold coin donation on Thursday. The Kindy children will be busy making blue cupcakes and blue lemonade for staff to purchase, with all proceeds going towards this important cause.

We are so proud of the children's creativity, kindness, and enthusiasm as they take the lead in making a difference for others. 💙✨

We love Kindy Science!

The children explored Fibonacci Circles this week, investigating patterns, sequencing, and spatial relationships through a STEM lens. 🌀✨

They experimented with creating spiral designs, developing their mathematical thinking, problem-solving skills, and understanding of patterns found in nature.

This hands-on experience sparked curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity as the children explored how mathematics can be seen in the world around us. 🌿🔍

What a wonderful week of imaginative play! ☕🏡

A huge thank you to our generous Weller family for gifting us this beautiful cubby house. The children have wasted no time transforming it into their very own café, complete with handmade menus, delicious pretend treats, and plenty of happy customers!

We are so grateful for this thoughtful donation and the endless opportunities it has created for learning, connection, and fun. ❤️

The Toombul children also enjoyed a special movie afternoon!
