Spring Hill Cubbyhouse Montessori

In our Montessori environment, independence starts early- with something as simple as a sip of water. A child-sized water dispenser (in Dibbil) empowers children to meet their own needs, building confidence with every refill. No more waiting for help - just easy access to hydration whenever they need it.
This small act of self-care fosters responsibility, coordination, and a sense of accomplishment. With the right setup at home, Dear Parents, even the tiniest hands can take charge of their thirst—one glass at a time! How does your child get a glass of water at home?🚰

Bow and her team have been busy cooking up a feast with our younger chefs from Kuyur, for tomorrow afternoon’s festivities!

We are excited to welcome back Studio da Vinci to Spring Hill Cubbyhouse Montessori ! The Studio works alongside our Educators to support and extend current discussions/themes in their rooms; at present the children of Dibbil are discovering Mexico as part of their study of North America. In addition, Ms Veronica is from Mexico and has brought along some cultural artifacts to share.
Studio da Vinci closely consults with both the Gap and Spring Hill Cubbyhouse Montessori to provide in-centre STEAM/creative arts projects aligned with our Montessori Arts curriculum in the Early Years. 🎨
Last year, the Studio showcased their sustainable studies at the Grassroots Montessori Conference featuring project work with the children from Dibbil and some of our current children had participated in these sessions!🍃

The wonderful Wooden Weaving Frame supports:
💡Fine Motor Skills: Weaving helps children refine hand-eye coordination, finger strength, and dexterity.

Dear Parents/Carers
✅A reminder to sign out your child at reception ONLY AFTER you have collected your child.
✅This is an important part of our Centre’s safety protocol and supports accurate child accountability at all times.
✅To maintain clear and accurate records, we ask that sign-out occurs only once your child is with you….and NOT before.
