On Monday night, 6 Jul 26, we had the privilege of having Shihan Paul Cale, one of the greatest Martial Artists in Australia, visit us and give a couple of hours of his time, knowledge and experience. It was excellent!!!! Check out some of the photos.

Paul has been involved with Martial Arts for most of his life. He holds Black-belt ranks in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ), Kudo Daido Juku, Kyokushin karate and three aikido styles (Yoshinkan, Tomiki and Gyokushin Ryu), as well as the Olympic combat sports of Judo and Taekwondo. Paul was the first Australian to earn a kudo black belt and first Branch Chief of the international Kudo Federation Australia (IKFA).

Paul is the founder of Kinetic Fighting – Integrated Combat, which is the civilian version of the Australian Army’s Combative Program. In 2017 Paul was appointed Head Coach of the Australian Defence Force Martial Arts Association (ADFMAA) and has a lasting passion for enabling soldiers to develop their unarmed combat skills. He has also previously co-founded the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Combat Centre where he worked as a coach and specialist consultant to the AIS for several years.

Nick earned his JBI Green belt on 25 Jun 26. It was awesome to watch. Congratulations Nick. Great job!!!
