Sadhana is where knowledge becomes lived experience. It is one thing to learn about yoga. It is another to return to your practice consistently enough to notice what it teaches you.
Some days, Sadhana may feel grounding and clear. Other days, it may feel uncomfortable, distracted or resistant. The point is not to have a perfect practice every time. The point is to continue showing up with attention, curiosity and discipline.
For a yoga teacher, this matters deeply. Your teaching is not only shaped by what you have studied, but by what you have practised, questioned and experienced for yourself.
Within our 200hr Yoga Teacher Training, students are encouraged to build a regular Sadhana that supports their learning and helps them develop a more honest, embodied relationship with yoga.
This is not about performance. It is about practice.
Again, and again, and again. 🤍

There is so much more to teaching an asana than knowing what it looks like.
A skilled yoga teacher learns to observe the body in front of them, understand the intention of the pose, offer useful cues and variations, and create an experience that supports students to practise with greater awareness and confidence.
This is the work we explore throughout our 200hr Yoga Teacher Training: building the knowledge, practical skills and teaching experience to step into the role of teacher with clarity.
Whether you are ready to teach, deepen your own practice, or begin a new chapter within the yoga world, our upcoming training pathways are designed to support you through that journey.

Padma Mudra, the lotus seal. This hand gesture is often used in meditation and pranayama as a symbol of the lotus flower, rooted in the mud and opening toward the light.
In practice, Padma Mudra can be a reminder that growth does not always happen in perfect conditions. We can feel tired, uncertain, stretched, or in the middle of becoming, and still be opening in our own way.
To practise, bring the base of the palms together, touch the thumbs and little fingers, then open the middle fingers like lotus petals. Rest the hands near the heart, soften the shoulders, and take a few slow breaths.
A simple gesture for steadiness, openness, and returning inward.

In yogic philosophy, the koshas describe five layers of our being, from the physical body through to subtler layers of energy, mind, wisdom and inner connection. Rather than seeing ourselves as just a physical body, the koshas offer a framework for understanding the many layers that shape our human experience.
The physical body we move and feel.
The breath and energy that influence how we show up.
The mind and emotions that colour our perception.
The deeper wisdom that helps us discern what is true.
The quiet sense of connection, contentment and ease that can sit beneath it all.
In yoga, this framework can remind us that practice is not only about stretching or strengthening the body. It can also be a way of observing our breath, noticing our thoughts, building self-awareness and connecting to something deeper within ourselves. The koshas give us language for what many people feel through practice: that yoga works on more than just one layer of who we are.

There is something powerful about choosing to deepen your practice.
Not because you need to become a teacher.
Not because you need to have everything figured out.
But because yoga has a way of meeting us layer by layer, through the body, the breath, the mind, and the way we move through life.
Our 200hr Yoga Teacher Training is designed for students who are ready to explore yoga beyond the surface, with a grounded, supportive and deeply practical approach to learning.
Whether you are ready to teach, curious about philosophy and anatomy, or simply wanting to understand your own practice in a more meaningful way, this training gives you the space, structure and guidance to do that.

Nadis are often described as energetic pathways in the body, but they are easier to understand when we relate them to experience rather than theory.
In simple terms, nadis describe how energy and information move through your system. While they are not physical structures like nerves, they closely relate to how the nervous system functions and how we shift between different internal states.
The three primary nadis give us a useful framework:
🌀 Ida is associated with slower, inward, more restorative states. You might notice this when your breath is calm and your body feels settled.
🌀 Pingala is linked to more active, outward states. This shows up when you feel alert, focused, or physically engaged.
🌀 Sushumna represents balance between the two. This is where the system feels steady, clear, and regulated.
This is not abstract. You experience these shifts every day through your breath, your energy levels, and your ability to focus or relax. Yoga gives us practical tools to influence this. Breathwork, movement, and attention all play a role in helping the system move out of extremes and back toward balance. When you understand this, practice becomes less about chasing a feeling and more about knowing how to shift your state intentionally.
