A few months post-partum I knew a real plan needed to be put into place.

Working on my own confidence to get back to helping others build their confidence helped me to realise just how important having a transition plan really is for Mum’s returning to work.

I’ve put this plan together now to help you build your confidence in playing the role of Mum and Career Woman at the same time.

Comment ‘Mum’ and I’ll send you my free Career Comeback Checklist directly ✅

You can do this Mumma 🎉 We’re in this together and a good support network helps 🫶

DM or comment ‘Mum’ if you want the plan 🙌

Sending love,
Jade

Holding myself accountable to help hold you accountable too 🤝

Before I had a baby I used to go to the gym 4-5 times per week, usually before 6am.
I loved the way it made me feel and enjoyed the benefits on my health 🏋️‍♀️

After August was born life became very different and I started making a lot of excuses as to why I couldn’t do this anymore 😴🍼🐣

But as I’ve shared MANY MANY times, confidence is built by doing the things you say you’re going to do.
Building trust in yourself through showing up the way you said you would.

So I stopped making excuses, and although going to the gym isn’t feasible in the mornings anymore, I’ve found a new routine that works for both of us.

Is there something you’ve been making excuses for recently? Let’s share!
Write it below to hold yourself accountable and let others feel inspired to take action too!!

Sending love,
Jade

The fashion crisis that comes with becoming a mum is a real thing

Knowing my personal style before having a baby was one thing but the whole identity shift that occurred since a becoming a Mum has completely shifted that.

The first few weeks were literally track pants and activewear exclusively and I loved that.

When I finally started socialising again different thoughts popped into my head which made choosing outfits an unenjoyable adventure.

Does this make me still look pregnant?

Can I wear clothes that I got away with when I was skinnier?

Is it appropriate to wear this?

Luckily (and I’m so grateful I did this before having August) I have been doing a fashion styling qualification and now know exactly what colours and shapes suit me best.

On top of that, I also know what makes me feel my best and what my personal style type is.

My go to favourite at the moment is denim and I’m loving how it makes me look and feel when I’m wearing it.

What’s your go to piece of clothing post baby??

If this photo caught your attention then you’re probably my kind of person.

I missed you!!! I am still here on this account, I promise 👋 it’s been a little minute since I showed my face on Insta. But I’ve been away for good reasons.

This is what my life looks right now and I wanted to share.

Firstly - I’ve become utterly obsessed with my son and want to spend every spare minute I have with him. See photo of me balling my eyes because he’s moved into his big cot now 😭

Secondly - due to above mentioned comment - time when I am working looks slightly different right now. Pumping in storage rooms at conference centres and sneaking away from client workshops to express has become my reality. It’s something not discussed enough when breastfeeding mums return to work but I’m here to normalise this.

Being a bum has changed me in so many ways I didn’t expect. It’s reprioritised my whole life and given me a new focus. With that comes identity changes and new perceptions of myself. Who can relate???

The other thing I’ve realised is that with the small amount of time I do have for myself, it’s important I prioritise what really makes me happy. You know how we’ve all got secret passions that maybe not everyone knows about?? Well I’ve been working on one of mine. I’ve always been a fashion girly but now it’s becoming part of the business. More to come on that very soon 🤩

It’s nice to be back 🥰

Honestly. Isn’t it just rude to keep those good thoughts to yourself. Share them with the world.

You wouldn’t hold onto a gift you bought someone, and a compliment is just that - a gift.

Pass it on.
Spread the love.
Share the positive vibes.

You could make someone’s day with the simplest of compliments!

Working from home looks a little bit different these days.

Having a 9 week old has shifted my daily routine.
Routine is a word that does not even exist in my life right now.

Each day we take as it comes, and 5am gym sessions now look like 5am feeding sessions, and the hope we’ll get a few more hours sleep before the sun rises.

I am blessed to have the privilege of being able to stay at home with my gorgeous little man, and also serve my clients. There’s a lot of people around me that give their time and energy to help make this happen.

For this reason, I also want to give back.

July only I’m opening up the doors to The Upgrade - my online confidence building program - to anyone who’d like to be a part of it, completely for free. No payment required.

All you have to do is sign up, and you’ll get complete access to 100% of the exclusive content in the program for the whole of July.

This is something I’m really passionate about - helping people to see the best in themselves is the purpose of this business. Make the most of this once only offer. If you sign up now, you’ll score access for the rest of June and the whole of July - the sooner you act, the more time you’ll have in the program.

To get the sign up link, send me a message or comment below and I’ll share it with you.

Sending love,
Jade xx

The down time and the on time. Hard work and always working are not the same thing.

I’m currently in a phase of down time and on time looking significantly different to what I’m used to.

My on time can mean frantically getting emails and work done in between naps, and it can also mean attempting to settle a crying baby. My down time includes contact naps and walks in the park.

This is my current reality - for you - see if the below relates?

Imposter syndrome can make you think that winners never take breaks.
That’s false.

Self doubt can make you think that you don’t deserve to rest.
That’s false.

Seeing others constantly working their butts off can make you think that’s normal.
That’s false.

The hours you work are complimented by the hours you rest. We’re talking about putting your own life jacket on first here. You simply cannot keep performing without adequate rest.

Yes work hard. Yes give everything your best shot. And yes, you’re also allowed down time to make that happen.

Productivity is key here. Making the most of the time you’re on and also making the most of the time you’re off.

Are you resting properly? Actually filling your cup?

Comment ‘down time’ if you want some tips on how you can best utilise your time ✨

Behind the scenes at the moment.

This is what my life looks like right now. Bub in the carrier so I am able to find a few minutes to catch up on work and send some emails (and finally eat some breaky too).

Last night we had 4 overnight feeds, resulting in not much sleep and an early start to the day. No time for hair or makeup today.

I know some people want exactly what I have which is what reminds me to be grateful every single day. I have the life I once dreamed of… and that doesn’t mean it’s always easy. Last night I burst into tears because I can’t believe this is my life, and at the same time little man wouldn’t stop crying. The duality is real.

As a client reminded me yesterday, the most important thing is coming back to gratitude. When you can find the things you’re grateful for, even in the hard times, the hard becomes so much easier.

So for those in the thick of it like I am at the moment, those hoping to one day be in the thick of it, or those who are just finding life a bit busy at the moment - this message is for you. I see you. I feel you. I am grateful for you. What can you be grateful for?

Answer me this: are you curious? How does it benefit your life? 🤷🤔☺️
