Fast decisions aren't always the best decisions.

Without trust in your data, speed can create more risk than value.

Adding location context helps build confidence, so decisions are not just quicker, but more accurate too.

Is your organisation simply storing imagery, or are you actually using it to drive critical workflows? 🚧

Disconnected datasets create major operational bottlenecks. To get real value from your data, you need to architect a centralised system of record that makes massive imagery assets easily discoverable for every user.

🧭 Join ‘Unlocking enterprise imagery: Build a central system of record’ to explore the practical blueprints for managing imagery at scale.

🏆 Congratulations to Holly Collette, winner of the 2026 StoryMaps Challenge

As part of the Challenge, students across Australia used ArcGIS StoryMaps to examine migration, climate, or the relationship between them. Holly impressed the judges with an engaging entry that brought a real-world issue to life through geospatial technology.

Her achievement shows how students can use STEM skills to explore complex topics and communicate ideas that matter. 👏

That's a wrap on GeoInnovation 2026! 📍

From Melbourne to Sydney and Brisbane, it was fantastic to bring Australia's geospatial community together to share ideas, learn from real-world examples and explore how trusted data, location intelligence and AI are supporting better decisions.

A big thank you to our speakers, partners, and everyone who joined us across the three cities. Your insights, questions and conversations made each event memorable.

Take a look at some of the highlights. 👇

"I didn’t expect my colleagues to become my Sunday morning running crew."

Yesterday, our Brisbane team swapped ArcGIS for running shoes and project deadlines for the finish line at the Bridge to Brisbane 2026! 🏃‍♀️🌉

They joined a massive crowd of 40,000 participants for an early 10km dash over the Gateway Bridge. It was all about leaving the office behind for an early alarm, a lot of sweat, and bringing home those well-earned finisher medals. 🏅

Huge shoutout to the team for showing up for each other on a Sunday. If anyone needs the Brisbane crew today, they’ll definitely be taking the elevator!

Where could a paid internship with Esri Australia take your career? 🎓

2026 Esri Young Scholar Award winner Lucy Hughes worked with our Melbourne team during her internship to examine a repeatable way to detect fishtrap features across the Wellesley Islands.

Alongside our GIS specialists, she explored deep learning and GeoAI, tested new possibilities for her workflow, and developed a clearer plan for the next phase of her research.

Explore Lucy’s story in the comments for an inside look at her internship experience. 🔍

Location influences almost every part of retail - from choosing new sites and understanding customers to managing deliveries, store performance, assets, and risk.

But these decisions are often made by different teams, using separate systems, and only part of the available picture.

What could retailers achieve if location became a shared view across the entire organisation?

Explore how connecting teams, systems, and data through location intelligence can support more coordinated decisions and a stronger, more resilient retail network.

Being decision-ready isn't about having more data, it's about having the right data, ready when you need it.

When data includes location context, it becomes easier to trust, easier to understand, and easier to act on.

That's how organisations move faster with confidence.
