We provide money & wealth education you wish you were taught in school, but with a real-world feel. Hi There! My name’s Jules.

I’m a wealth coach, and I get a kick out of helping people make smart money decisions. With over 15 years in property, banking and financial planning, there’s a lot of great stuff I’ve learnt that I now get the opportunity to share and help others. What I've noticed in recent years, is how much harder it has become to get-ahead financially. There's so much information out there and it’s difficult

Today, I had the absolute pleasure of presenting a Money & Wealth Coaching session to a group of year 12 students at the Australian Industry Trade College - Redlands (AITC) in Cleveland.
While the presentation covered a range of topics for the students to think about, there were a few key themes:
1. How to manage your money effectively.
2. The importance of saving and investing as early as possible.
3. Avoiding getting into debt at a young age.
4. Have a back-up-plan (Emergency funds, protecting your income etc)
I was absolutely taken aback by the level of interest and financial knowledge the students had throughout the presentation. I had questions coming at me left, right and centre today with the kids eager to learn and understand more (especially about investing). It was fantastic!
Thank you to Kari Stuart (Team leader), the broader team at AITC and all the year 12 students for welcoming me into your college for a half-day event. It was a real honour, and I’m looking forward to working with you again soon!

I set out 12 months ago with a vision to offer an affordable part-time coaching service providing guidance and education on general and complex money matters.
It’s a service that is desperately needed and something that I wish I had access to when I was younger.

As a financial adviser of over 11 years now, I always knew there was a huge need for a service that offered some form of financial coaching, but when Many Beans began, I had NO IDEA just how many people are yearning for this type of service.🔥🔥

I have now helped people of all ages, all over the country and provide a money & wealth coaching service that is incredibly fluid and nuanced to the Individual/couple. It’s been awesome!👏👏

There have been some common themes, so I thought I would share the top 3 with you.
Much love, Jules! 😊

Last week I had the huge honour of hosting a Money & Wealth workshop with The Pyjama Foundation for their newly created ‘Teen Life Skills Program’.

The Pyjama Foundation is an organisation of amazing ‘Pyjama Angel’ mentors that volunteer their time each week to provide one-on-one support to children in foster care, empowering them with learning, life skills and the confidence to reach their full potential.

It was awesome to present to an amazing team of Pyjama Angel mentors, providing them with an overview of the foundational elements of money management, (financial literacy, budgeting, and saving), so they can then help prepare their teens, as best they can, in readiness for adulthood.

The Pyjama Foundation Thank you! And I’m looking forward to working with you again soon!

Below is my story on WHY it's finally time to get the ball rolling...

It's amazing when certain events happen in life, and you look back and realise that those moments can sometimes help drive you.
15 years ago, at age 27, i caught a random virus that knocked me out of action for several months. I'm very lucky, in that I got healthy again, back to work and had no long-term health issues, but deep down I'll never forget the fear I had during those months off work.
It was equal parts worry for my health (not sure when I would get better) and worry for my financial situation. I didn't have an adequate back-up plan at the time, nor did I know the best way to get back on track. In the months leading up to getting sick, I worked hard and saved the equivalent of a small house deposit. Well, that all went up in smoke covering living costs while off work. It was so frustrating at the time.
After recovering, I moved up to QLD for a lifestyle change, and just a fresh start to be honest. It was the best decision I made, and I ultimately ended up working in real estate and then financial planning, as I still do today. I have an amazing family and a great company I work for doing what I enjoy.
But upon reflection, for many of the past 15 years I would often blame myself for being financially ignorant at the time, especially knowing what I know now (as a result of my profession).
Thankfully, in recent years, through various learnings, experiences with clients and a whole lot of self-reflection, I no longer carry that burden anymore, and it feels good.
I have however, learnt a very important lesson that took me sometime to realise and reconcile. It wasn't my fault!
It even feels hard to say it now. But the reality is, just like most people, i didn't acquire the financial knowledge and the tools i needed from high school, and unfortunately, as amazing my parents are, and as supportive as they were, money and wealth education was not a topic for regular discussion around the dinner table.
Now, I wish I could say to those that resonate with the 27-year-old Jules, “that’s ok, just go and see a financial planner to get the money coaching and financial literacy you need, so you don’t end up winging it like me”, but unfortunately, it’s not that easy, as financial advisers often don’t service this audience.
So, who then looks after the people in the middle, between those that get financial advice and those that do nothing. The answer is, a Wealth Coach.
So what is my WHY?
It’s to be the person that I needed when I was younger. Simple as that.
