SO MANY THANKS ... Today we were privileged to have Rebecca Khan from Kids That Go Therapies present our ONLINE workshop … CONQUERING A “CODE BROWN”. Thank you Rebecca for providing such an amazing workshop on faecal smearing with such an empathetic and evidence-based approach. Thank you also for sharing so many practical strategies and clinical resources.
This was a great learning opportunity for all involved - with participants actively engaging in Q&A, discussions and clinical reflections - a great group indeed!

SO MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR ...
Today was our final session of our popular online workshop SUPPORTING THE OCCUPATIONAL ROLES OF INFANTS. So much thanks and gratitude goes out to our FABULOUS presenter Lisa Findlay ... she continues to inspire attendees with not only her up-to-to date skills in this area but her passion and generosity in sharing not only her time, experience and knowledge … but also numerous practical resources that will support day-to-day clinical practice. THANK YOU Lisa for another AMAZING workshop!!
Thank you also to all our participants for their active engagement and sharing over the four weeks, it was a pleasure to be part of this learning opportunity. I am sure you have all gained a significant amount from this workshop that highlighted the contemporary clinical practice for occupational therapists providing support for this population and their carers/families.

Play is an important measure of children’s development, as it encompasses emotional, social, cognitive and language aspects. It develops in layers of complexity over time, influencing all aspects of child development. This workshop is provided in two modules:
Assessment Module - the assessment module will focus on clinician’s being able to observe a child’s play; and understand and interpret this information within the child’s family, social and cultural systems.
Intervention Module - this module will provide participants with a clinical reasoning framework for the inclusion of play in therapy sessions; as well as skills/strategies to design and implement intervention programs that will develop children’s pretend play skills.
This workshop is suitable for Occupational Therapist and Speech Therapists.

REGISTRATIONS CLOSING - Perceive: Recall: Plan and Perform System (PRPP) - Assessment Workshop (Paediatric-focused)
SYDNEY
5 days - Monday 15th - Friday 19th June 2026
PRESENTERS: Assoc Professor Chris Chapparo and Dr Judy Ranka
This 5 day workshop will provide participants with skills/knowledge with regard to assessment using the PRPP, as well as a basic introduction to intervention. The Perceive: Recall: Plan and Perform System (PRPP) is a process-oriented, criterion referenced assessment that employs task analysis methods to determine problems with cognitive information processing component function during routine, task or subtask performance. The PRPP System is for use with adults and children who have difficulty performing daily tasks. It is suitable for adults and children of either s*x and from any cultural background.
Target Audience: Occupational Therapists with an interest in applying PRPP to a paediatric caseload.
