Some more pics for yesterday.

We had a fantastic finale for our final session of this pre season block at Ballymore this morning where we had just under a hundred kids show up almost exclusively from the BNE area. We understand many are not travelling at this point.

However a great session was had by all and special mention to ex C2Kers themselves Xavier Rubens, Tom Howard and Finn Mackay who ran the backs coaching with Brendon Daniel. The feedback was amazing from all involved in the backs division and we are so thankful to the three up and coming Reds players. All three have featured in the Reds recent development games and are exciting to watch with big futures in the game. We love having them down as always.

The session featured a sprint coaching rotation by Ian King and Co which was extremely well received with kids getting pointers on technique to immediately improve speed and agility.

Elsewhere Brad Free ran the 9s whilst Jason Jones, Troy Colley, Micheal Crank Mark Connors and Mark Gabey ran the forwards. This panel are simply magnificent in what they do. Continually preparing our young forwards with the absolute foundational basics to move forward in the game.

We’d like to thank all the parents who brought the kids along,the kids themselves who were so dedicated this block, Julie for the coffee van,Scott and Richard for running the show, all the above fore mentioned coaches for their contributions along with Murray Harley, Pat Howard, Nathan Spooner, Kris Burton, Tom Kibble and co who all featured throughout the block.

A big thank you to those who donated and gave gift cards.

We wish everyone a great season ahead and just remembering today was the FINAL session of this block.

Please follow the parking instructions. Follow the BLUE line into Ballymore and park as marked.Note NO PARKING sign in car park BEHIND GOAL POSTS (marked in RED)
*Coffee Van will be there from 730am.

Here is a list of the most important things to remember for tomorrow. CAN WE ALSO REMIND EVERYONE TO HAVE A DECENT BALL THATS PUMPED UP.

1. It’s at Ballymore, Clyde Rd Herston
2. Start times:
8am -10:30am ( approx)
There is ONE session including boys and girls.

Please arrive 15 minutes early and go to rego desk to check in
3No Rego No play
4. Each player needs BOOTS BALL WATER and sun protection
5. Please clearly mark all Items with YOUR NAME.
6. If you forget your ball we have some C2K ones available for purchase at $30 cash only( pls bring cash)
7. If you have our 2025 uniform we EXPECT you to wear it. If you don’t have our uniform then wear your club, school or rep training shirts. If you have an old C2K uniform please wear that.

10.Thank the coaches
11.We will have a small amount of Gilbert /Socks boot bags and caps available for sale - cash only)
12.If you have to leave the session slightly early that’s ok
13.Please don’t leave your belongings ther

We had another great day at Ballymore for our second ( officially 3rd session) of our 4 session block with one remaining. Next Sunday.

Over 125 attendees on a colder March morning the players who attended all got huge benefit from all our skill coaches in the various positional areas.

We want to thank k for all involved today and can’t wait for our final session next week.
