✨ A new uniform. A shared story. A celebration of culture. ✨

We are excited to unveil our new Uniting Early Learning uniforms, proudly featuring artwork created by Aboriginal Graphic Designer and Artist Elaine Chambers-Hegarty. The design is more than artwork on a sleeve. It is a visual story of who we are, the communities we serve, and the values that guide us every day.

🤝 The artwork brings together themes of community, culture, action, confidence, development, relationships and peace, each reflecting the heart of Uniting Early Learning and our commitment to children, families and communities. Gathering circles represent community, people symbols celebrate diversity, and elements inspired by Country and culture speak to connection, growth and belonging.

🌿🖤💛❤️ This artwork reminds us of the importance of listening, learning, respecting and walking together. It celebrates the rich cultures and communities that shape us and reflects our vision of creating places where every child is known, valued and supported to thrive.

🖼️✨ You'll also find the full artwork and a beautifully framed explanation of the creative process displayed in the foyer of each of our services. We encourage you to take a moment to stop, reflect and discover the story woven into this meaningful design.

This week we celebrate International Week of Deaf People and the incredible inclusive learning environment at Uniting Early Learning Toowong.

Through the use of Auslan and spoken English, children are supported to communicate, connect and thrive every day.

Thank you to our educators, children and families for helping create a community where every voice is valued.

This week is International Week of Deaf People and you might notice a little extra sparkle around the centre this week. It’s our chance to celebrate what your child experiences here every single day - Auslan and spoken English woven together through our day at drop-off, stories, mealtimes, stories, songs, and goodbyes at pick-up.

Led by the World Federation of the Deaf Ry , this year's theme is Declaring Deaf People's Human Rights, marking 75 years since the WFD was founded, and 20 years since sign languages were formally recognised as full, equal languages under the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Most people will never see the hundreds of moments that make a great early childhood educator.

The comforting hug at drop-off. The encouragement before a child tries something new. The patience shown during a difficult day. The celebration of a milestone that might seem small to everyone else, but means everything to a child.

Yesterday was Early Childhood Educators Day, and we want to take a moment to recognise and celebrate the incredible educators across Uniting Early Learning.

Every day, they help children feel safe, confident, capable and valued. They build meaningful relationships with families, create environments where children can thrive, and make a lasting impact through the care, dedication and passion they bring to their work.

To all of our educators, thank you.

Thank you for the moments that often go unseen. Thank you for the difference you make. And thank you for the care you show children, families and one another every single day.

Uniting Church Queensland's Better Together Awards are an opportunity to recognise the everyday actions, contributions and values that help bring our shared mission to life.

We're delighted to celebrate Miss Merran from Uniting Early Learning Jahjumbeen, who was recognised with the "Embrace an Abundant Future" award. Through her dedication, passion and commitment to delivering a wonderful Kindergarten program, Miss Merran creates meaningful learning experiences for children and families every day.

Congratulations, Miss Merran, on this well-deserved recognition. We are so grateful for the difference you make. 🌟👏
