You’ll help create Auslan-first video content, work with a Deaf-led team, and bring important information to life on screen.

We’re looking for an Editorial Content Lead to join the Auslan90 team.

This role will help shape the stories, style and editorial direction of Auslan90, supporting high-quality, Deaf-centric video content for the Deaf community.

You’ll work across story development, research, fact-checking, content planning, production coordination and media accountability, while collaborating with presenters and teams across Deaf Connect.

We’re looking for someone with strong editorial judgement, critical reading skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of the Australian Deaf community’s language and culture.

Deaf Connect Family Mentors play an important role in helping Deaf and hard of hearing children and families navigate the world and participate fully in their lives and communities.

Family Mentors provide a positive Deaf role model for children and families, supporting early family bonding and nurturing development, communication and growth within the family unit. This role is incredibly rewarding and impactful, working directly with the Deaf and hard of hearing community!
