Recently, Deaf Connect supported the Tasmanian Deaf Sport Club’s Christmas in July dinner in Devonport! 🌟

We organised buses to bring regional Deaf Tasmanians together for the evening, because community connections shouldn’t be limited by distance.

Get ready to explore the world through your senses! Catch the premiere of Sensational Senses, a new Play School series featuring Auslan translations and available on ABC Kids and ABC iView.

From sight and sound to touch, taste and balance, children will discover new ways to learn about the world around them through fun, engaging activities that celebrate curiosity, communication and inclusion.

We're looking for Speech Language Pathologists to join our Therapy and Family Services team in Townsville!

As part of our speech pathology team, you will be supporting Deaf and hard of hearing people to build communication, independence, and confidence.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

🌟Deliver therapy in clinic, community, schools and via telepractice to infant, child and adult clients
🌟 Be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
🌟 Contribute to a growing and impactful therapy service

Auslan Storytime in Cairns - August 2026 session! 📖💫

Deaf Connect partners with libraries across Australia to deliver Auslan Storytime during the school term!

These storytime sessions offer interactive storytelling sessions led by a Deaf presenter in their primary language, serving as a positive role model for young Deaf and hard of hearing children.
