It’s been a week of experimenting, exploring and plenty of “WOW!” moments for National Science Week! 🧪🔬✨

Across our centre, our little scientists of all ages have been busy mixing, testing, predicting, observing and discovering through a range of hands-on experiments.

Some experiments worked exactly as we hoped... while others didn’t quite go according to plan!
But that brought with it another important discovery not everything works the first time, and that’s okay.

Together, the children had opportunities to wonder “Why didn’t that work?”, think about what we could change, try again and discover that sometimes the unexpected results can teach us just as much as the successful ones. 💭💡

Science is about more than finding the right answer. It’s about being curious, asking questions, testing ideas, problem-solving and learning along the way.

Sometimes the biggest signs of belonging come from the smallest things. 💛

We asked our Seedlings families, “What’s something your child says or does that lets you know they love coming to kindy?”

From dragging kindy bags to the front door, asking about their educators and friends, to getting excited simply driving past Seedlings. Their answers gave us a little glimpse into just how much their kindy world means to them. 🥹

Because feeling safe and secure isn’t only about being cared for. It’s about forming meaningful relationships, feeling a sense of belonging, and knowing that this is their place too.

Behind every confident goodbye is a parent placing enormous trust in us.

We asked our Seedlings families what gives them peace of mind when they leave their children in our care.

Their words reminded us that feeling safe is about so much more than a building or a routine—it’s about relationships, consistency, kindness and knowing your child is genuinely loved and cared for.

Rest assured, our team is fully up to date with their First Aid and CPR training.

Each year, all educators complete a CPR refresher, with full First Aid qualifications renewed every three years. This ongoing training ensures our team is confident, prepared, and ready to respond should an emergency ever arise.

The safety and wellbeing of every child in our care will always be our highest priority.
