A tiny world of wonder!🪲🕷️🦗

With curious eyes and bug catchers at the ready, our Senior Kindy children have been exploring the fascinating world of insects and spiders! From discovering where they live and what’s on their menu to learning how they grow and change, there’s been so much to wonder about.

Getting a closer look at these little creatures has brought their learning to life-one tiny discovery at a time!

We finished our Kindergarten School Holiday Program with the perfect activity for a warm day. Water Day! 💦☀️

Our Tigers enjoyed a day filled with splashing, laughter and plenty of water-filled fun. As they played together, the children explored movement, strengthened their coordination and shared joyful moments with their friends.

It was a wonderfully refreshing way to celebrate the end of two weeks filled with creativity, discovery, connection and memorable experiences.

Our Kindergarten Tigers were ready to move for Sports Day! 🏃‍♀️🏀

Throughout the day, the children took part in a variety of active experiences that encouraged them to run, move, practise new skills and enjoy some friendly fun with their peers.

Sports Day provided opportunities to develop coordination, balance, confidence and teamwork while celebrating effort, participation and having a go.

Pizza and Movie Day was the perfect combination of creativity, independence and relaxation!🍕🎬

Our Kindergarten Tigers each made their own pizza, choosing their toppings and carefully creating something that was uniquely theirs.
Along the way, they practiced decision making, following steps and developing their independence all while looking forward to tasting their delicious creations!

Afterwards, the children settled in for a well earned rest while enjoying Trolls and Moana together.

Science Day may have been our most exciting day yet! 🧪✨

Our Kindergarten Tigers became little scientists as they explored seven different experiments throughout the day. Each experience sparked curiosity, questions and plenty of amazement, keeping the children completely intrigued from beginning to end.

Through predicting, observing and investigating, the Tigers discovered that science is not only about finding answers—it’s also about exploring possibilities, testing ideas and wondering, “What will happen next?”

Our Kindergarten School Holiday Program began with a little sparkle and a whole lot of dancing! 🪩✨

Children from our Junior Kindy room joined our Kindergarten friends for a Disco Dance Party filled with music, movement, balloons and plenty of impressive dance moves.

While the children were busy having fun, they were also developing coordination, body awareness, confidence and self-expression. Dancing alongside friends from different rooms created opportunities to connect, participate and share in the joy of being part of our wider centre community.

What a wonderful way to begin two weeks of special experiences! 💃🕺

School holiday fun has arrived in our Kindergarten Room! 🎉

Over the next two weeks, our Kindergarten children will enjoy a special program filled with opportunities to move, create, investigate, build and connect.

From disco dancing and science experiments to sports, art and water play, each day brings a new experience for the children to explore. On selected days, children from across the centre will also be invited to join the fun, creating opportunities for shared learning and connection between our different age groups.

We can’t wait to share some of these special moments with you! 💚

Safety is something we learn and practise together. 🚨

At Seedlings, our fire drills are designed to involve children as active participants rather than simply asking them to follow directions.

As part of the drill scenario, the children help decide where the pretend fire will be before taking on meaningful responsibilities. They use our whistles to alert educators and children throughout the centre, then help guide their class calmly and safely to our designated meeting area.

Involving children throughout the process helps make emergency procedures familiar and understandable while developing their confidence, awareness and sense of responsibility.

By giving children an active voice in safety practices, we recognise them as capable contributors to their own safety and the safety of our centre community. ❤️

More than just a Bike Day 🚲

Our Toddler Room turned the excitement of riding bikes into a meaningful investigation of safety, movement and the world around them.

Before Bike Day, the children explored the carpark with their educators, identified potential hazards and contributed their own ideas about how everyone could stay safe. This learning was extended through conversations and play involving bikes, cars and road safety.

Bike Day then gave the children an opportunity to put their learning into action while developing their balance, coordination, spatial awareness and confidence.

The children were so engaged in the entire experience that another Bike Day is already on the way! 💚
