🎁 OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD – HELP US FILL A SHOEBOX WITH LOVE! 🌍

This year we are excited to take part in Operation Christmas Child again - this is a wonderful project run by Samaritan's Purse that brings joy and hope to children in need and around the world.
It's a simple, hand-on way for our centre and community to make a big difference. All you need to do is fill a shoebox with small gifts like:
🧸 Toys
✏️ School supplies
🧼 Hygiene items
🎨 Fun extras and treat
Samaritan's Purse collects these boxes and delivers them to children living in vulnerable situations across the globe - turning simple shoeboxes into powerful messages of care and generosity.
We currently have 25 shoeboxes available, and we'd love to see how many we can fill together!
📦Boxes are due back to the centre by Friday 24th October 2025
Let's show how much kindness our little community can pack into a shoebox!

😀Parent Information Evening – Thursday 13 August | 6:00 pm ✨

Uniting Early Learning – The Gap is excited to welcome Learn and Grow Therapies for a Parent Information Evening on Thursday 13 August at 6:00 pm.

This session is designed to provide families with practical, evidence-based information about children's development and answer common questions about growth, learning, and school readiness.

Topics will include:

Communication and language development
Play and social interaction
Emotional regulation
Independence skills
Fine and gross motor development
School readiness

On Friday our Kindy children walked down to St Peter Chanel for there under 8's day celebration and what a wonderful day it was :) thank you to the parent helpers that also came along.

We are looking forward to many more excursions with all of the wonderful walking opportunities in this beautiful community.

🌟 Quality Improvement Update at Our Service 🌟

A few weeks ago, our service underwent a partial assessment and rating across several key Quality Areas under the National Quality Standard.

We are proud to share that we have been awarded “Meeting the National Quality Standard” 🎉

The focus areas included:

✔️ Quality Area 3 – Physical Environment
✔️ Quality Area 7 – Leadership and Governance

This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment for all children in our care.
