Australian Olympic Change-Maker Program 2026 – Nominations Now Open!

The Australian Olympic Change-Maker Program celebrates young leaders who embody the Olympic spirit through leadership, inclusion, respect and community impact.

✅ Queensland schools can nominate up to two students
✅ All nominees receive a certificate of recognition
✅ Winners may be celebrated with an Olympian school visit
✅ Selected finalists will have the opportunity to attend the National Summit

This is a fantastic opportunity to recognise and reward the next generation of leaders making a difference through sport.

A huge congratulations to the student officials who recently travelled to Melbourne to officiate the 15 years Netball School Sport Australia National Championships.

These young leaders demonstrated exceptional professionalism, confidence, and commitment throughout the event, playing a vital role in ensuring competitions ran smoothly.

Their dedication, maturity and passion for sport were evident throughout the championships and are a credit to their schools, families and the QRSS program.

Ready to Represent Queensland!

The QRSS 10-12 Years Australian Football Boys and Girls teams are now set and ready to compete at the School Sport Australia National Championships, kicking off in Canberra on Monday.

Our jumper presentation was held at Sherwood AFL Club, where six former QRSS State team players presented the 2026 team members with their jumpers. A special thank you to Tristan Meekin, Jacob Edwards, Max Boothey, Elijah Glass, Harrison Bridge and Julian Cruice, who were part of QRSS teams in 2018, 2019 or 2021.

It was fantastic to hear them share their Queensland State team experiences and insights from their AFL journeys with our current players.

Good luck to all players and officials. We know you'll represent Queensland with pride!
