Congratulations Tony, well deserved award.
Tony is a long-time resident of Tarragindi and has also been president of the Salisbury RSL Sub-branch for many years, it has always been a pleasure to work with Tony on Remembrance and ANZAC Day's at the Salisbury Memorial Park.
Congratulations to a truly Outstanding member of our Community.
This ANZAC Day, I had the pleasure of catching up with Tony Stevenson OAM.
I've known Tony for over 20 years, during which time he has served the local community faithfully, Organising ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day services- even personally maintaining and mowing Salisbury RSL Memorial Park.
Tony is a man who personifies the ANZAC spirit and the good character of our local community.
That's why it was so fantastic to hear he was recognised as a 2026 ANZAC of the year.
Thank you for everything, Tony.

We were again proud to be a part of the dawn and morning services put on by the Salisbury RSL Sub-Branch at the Salisbury Memorial Park, Industries Rd.
It was a bit cold and wet but that did not deter hundreds from making their way to the park before sunrise to reflect on the courage and sacrifices made by the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.
Today we honour the ANZAC spirit and remind ourselves of the resilience, mateship and strength found in unity.
Lest We Forget.
