💛 R U OK? DAY AT BTP 💛

Today at BTP we came together to recognise R U OK? Day and remind our community just how important it is to check in with the people around us. 💛

Our families were treated to a Kit Kat for a Chit Chat at drop-off and collection — a simple little reminder to take a moment, connect and ask, “R U OK?”

We also made sure our wonderful educators felt appreciated, with some special yellow R U OK? Day cupcakes 🧁💛 to enjoy together while checking in with one another.

The children joined in throughout the day as we talked about feelings, kindness, friendships and looking out for others. It was wonderful to see so much yellow around the centre and so many smiles, conversations and connections happening throughout the day. 🌻

A big thank you to our BTP families and team for embracing the day and helping us create a community where everyone feels supported, valued and cared for.

🌈 What Childcare Should Look Like 🌈

Childcare should be a place where children feel safe, supported, valued and excited to learn. 💕 It should be filled with opportunities to explore, investigate, create, make mistakes, ask questions and discover the world around them.

At BTP, we believe in building on children’s curiosity, confidence and communication through meaningful, play-based learning experiences. 🧩🎨🌿

✨ Curiosity – encouraging children to wonder, explore, investigate and ask “why?”
✨ Confidence – giving children opportunities to try new things, make choices, solve problems and feel proud of their achievements.
✨ Communication – supporting children to express their ideas, feelings and needs while building relationships and learning to listen to others.

The best learning doesn’t always look like sitting at a table — sometimes it looks like messy hands, building towers, exploring outdoors, imaginative play, conversations with friends, experimenting, creating and lots of laughter! 🌱🔍🎨

Because childhood is about more than preparing children for the next stage — it’s about giving them the confidence and curiosity to love learning now. 💗

A big thank you to all our wonderful dads, granddads and special father figures who joined us for our Father’s Day Afternoon Tea! ☕🍰

It was so lovely to see our children sharing this special afternoon with the important people in their lives — enjoying delicious treats, happy conversations, lots of smiles and precious moments together. 💙

A very special thank you to our amazing BTP team for all the time, care and effort you put into preparing and making the afternoon so welcoming and memorable for our families. We truly appreciate everything you do! 🌟

Today we celebrate the amazing educators who make BTP such a special place for our children and families. 💕

Early childhood educators are so much more than teachers. They are comforters, role models, storytellers, problem-solvers, cheerleaders, protectors and trusted friends. They encourage curiosity, build confidence, support big emotions, celebrate little achievements and create safe spaces where children can learn, grow and simply be themselves. 🌱✨

To our incredible BTP team — thank you for the love, patience, dedication, creativity and professionalism you bring every single day. Thank you for the cuddles, messy play, endless questions, songs, stories, adventures and all the little moments that make such a BIG difference in a child’s life. 🥰

🧘‍♀️🌸 Yoga in Our Nursery! 🌸🧘‍♂️

Our littlest learners have been enjoying some wonderful yoga and movement experiences in the Nursery! 💕

Through gentle stretching, movement and playful poses, the children are developing their balance, coordination, body awareness and gross motor skills, while also experiencing moments of calm and relaxation.

Yoga is such a beautiful way to support children’s physical development, confidence and emotional wellbeing — and of course, have lots of fun along the way! 🌈✨

We love providing learning experiences that encourage our little ones to move, explore and discover what their amazing bodies can do! 💕🧘‍♀️

🎉 Celebrating 5 Amazing Years at BTP! 🎉

This week, we are very proud to celebrate a special milestone for two wonderful members of our BTP Early Learning family — Veronica and Tertia, who have both been with us for 5 years! 💐👏

Five years represents so much more than time. It represents commitment, loyalty, care, and countless moments shared with our children, families and team.

Over the years, Veronica and Tertia have supported and cared for so many children as they learned, played, grew and moved on to their next stage of life. Their dedication and contribution have become an important part of the BTP community we have today. ❤️

In early childhood education, consistency matters. Having experienced and caring educators who stay, grow and build long-term relationships brings a wonderful sense of stability and belonging to our children and families.

Veronica and Tertia, thank you for your loyalty, your hard work, and everything you have contributed to BTP over the past five years. We truly appreciate having you as part of our team and look forward to celebrating many more milestones together! 🌟

📚✨ BOOK WEEK FUN AT BTP! ✨📚

What a wonderful time we are having celebrating Book Week at BTP! 🌈📖

Our centre has been filled with some amazing little characters as the children bring their favourite books and stories to life through dress-ups, storytelling and lots of imaginative play. 🧚‍♀️🦸‍♂️👑🐛🧙‍♀️

Book Week is about so much more than dressing up. Sharing stories supports children's language and literacy development, imagination, creativity, communication and confidence. It also gives children the opportunity to share something they love with their friends and educators. ❤️

We have loved sitting together, reading the children's favourite books, talking about the characters and hearing why each story is special to them.

A huge thank you to our families for getting involved, organising costumes and sending along books to share. We know mornings are busy, and we really appreciate the effort! 🥰

📚 Keep the costumes and favourite books coming throughout the week—we can't wait to see who visits BTP next! ✨
