Uniting Early Learning Forest Lake

Wednesday our Forest Lake State School Prep Teacher and Deputy Principal visited the Kindy children as part of our Prep Transition Program. They read the Rainbow Fish story to the children and left them with collage materials to create their own masterpiece.

Our junior kindy friends were engaged in creating their artwork using food colour and straw onto their paper

Toddlers enjoyed practising with their tapping sticks to the Tabs Naba song, developing their sense of rhythm, coordination, listening skills and confidence while engaging in cultural learning through music

Nursery Babies engaging in sensory playground which enhance gross and fine motor skills,stimulate visual tracking. It also helps to improve their core strength and balance

Our toddlers were engaged in washing baby dolls an experience that supports the development of empathy and emotional intelligence while also encouraging early language skills through imaginative role play

Our nursery and toddlers are delighting in their lunch outdoors surrounded by beautiful view- fresh air,warm sunshine and happy little moments shared together

During the staff meeting Miss Sonia represent the workshop.Embedding Aboriginal Perspectives within the workplace presentation and workshop provided practical ideas for experiences and information, regarding the do's and don'ts when doing Aboriginal art with children.
