Children explored how compasses help people find their way during Bush Kinder. They practised identifying different directions and confidently used their new navigation skills while moving through the bush environment. Along the way, they enjoyed an exciting mix of discovery and curiosity, including bug catching.

The toddlers were actively engaged in washing dishes using soap and water. Through this hands-on experience, they explored cause and effect as they observed how water and soap helped to clean the dishes. The experience supported their fine-motor skills as they held, scrubbed, rinsed, and manipulated the dishes and sponges.

Kindergarten children engaged in literacy learning. They were able to identify their written name and then attempt to write it on stiff board. They then decorated it using ribbons, coloured sticks, and assorted fine beads.

Our kindy friends enjoyed a wonderful day at bush Kindy and they collected sticks to make fire pit. They safely participated in roasting marshmallows over the fire.
