AGM ANNOUNCEMENT!
GUES AGM will be held Tuesday 25th October, from 7pm to 9pm. Here, we will be electing the 2023 committee. If you would like to nominate yourself for President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer, please send an email to [email protected] by 5PM MONDAY 24TH OCTOBER. Any late submissions will not be considered. To register attendance at our AGM, please message us on Facebook or Instagram.
*NOTE: To attend, we need a minimum of 10 GRIFFITH EDUCATION members. Members who signed up purely for the ball tickets are not permitted to attend this meeting.

Wow! What a night. On behalf of our GUES Executive Team, we just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who supported our ball. It was a HUGE success. A special thank you to DJ Piper, Officially Stranded, and Michael Keating for your work throughout the night. We cannot wait for next year's ball already. THANK YOU

Griffith University Education Society is so excited to welcome officially_stranded to our lineup for the Education Ball! Officially Stranded is a 4-piece alt/rock band from Meanjin (Brisbane) with a killer dance vibe we know you’ll love. Adding a new flavour to the alt/rock genre with influences from Oasis, Highly Suspect and Audioslave, Officially Stranded is a night of fun you won’t want to miss. Introducing our wonderful photographer for our Education Ball!
Hey there, my name is Michael Keating. I am a Wedding and Landscape photographer living in Brisbane. Love a good burger, always down for an adventure, and storm season is my favourite time of the year. I’ve been shooting since I was 16 when my Dad gave me his Pentax film camera that he bought when he was 16. I enjoy how I can bring a creative touch to a moment that’ll be I enjoy photography as it allows me to creatively capture moments in my own vision. The reaction I get from couples and models when they see the photos I take of them never gets old. See Michael tomorrow night at our ball 7:30PM TO 10:30PM.

ONE DAY TO GO until the Griffith University Education Society's Inaugural Education Ball, "Down The Rabbit Hole". We are so excited to watch our visions come to life, and celebrate with all of the amazing staff, students, friends, and family in attendance. Here are a few reminders for the night:
- ID MUST be presented upon arrival to Cloudland staff
- You will receive a wrist band at the door based on your ticket purchase
- Doors open at 7PM (you will not be permitted early entry)
- Names will be checked off at the door upon arrival
- Cloudland dress codes must be adhered to.
- Security and Bar staff have the right to refuse alcohol service if deemed necessary
- HAVE FUN, DANCE, LAUGH, EAT, DRINK AND POSE!

Ticket sales to the Griffith University Education Society’s “Down the Rabbit Hole” Inaugural Ball have no closed. We want to thank all of our members, students, family, friends and staff who purchased tickets. Without you, this wouldn’t be possible.
