🌿🌼 Our garden is thriving! 🌼🌿

Beautiful flowers are blooming and vibrant colours are popping up throughout our garden. The herb corner is especially loving this cooler weather—it seems our garden enjoys the colder months just as much as we do! 🌱💚

Chicken Club was buzzing with activity again this week, with a full group of enthusiastic gardeners helping with clay collection and garden maintenance. We are also excited to share that one of our garden beds is almost completely weeded and ready for its next stage of development. 🌿🐔

A big thank you to all of our dedicated students for their hard work and care. We can't wait to see what grows next! 🌻✨

Our Prep students will soon be celebrating a major milestone… 💯 100 Days of Prep! 💯
🧓👵 To mark the occasion, we’re inviting all our Preppies to dress up as 100-year-old versions of themselves on: 📆 Thursday 16 July 2026.
Think walking sticks, cardigans, curlers, suspenders, glasses and grey hair – get those costumes ready and have some fun!
We can’t wait to celebrate being 100 days smarter with our littlest learners!

Our students have been practising diligently and can't wait to share their music with our school community. We warmly invite all parents and carers to come along and celebrate their efforts and achievements.

Local volunteer Sarah and her gentle therapy dog Max have completely transformed the way anxious children approach literacy at Cannon Hill State School.

The pair participates in the Special Human Animal Relationships in Education (SHARE) programme, an initiative run in partnership with the Animal Welfare League Queensland, where students are paired with therapy animals to create a supportive environment where children can practice reading aloud without the fear of making mistakes.
