4 years. Countless amazing moments. One Studio One. 🤍

From where we started to the studio we know and love today, these four years have been filled with so much more than dance.

We’ve watched our dancers grow in confidence, welcomed new faces, celebrated milestones big and small, shared countless hours in the studio and created memories that will stay with us for years to come.

To every dancer, teacher and family who has been part of Studio One’s story - thank you. You’ve helped shape this community into what it is today, and we feel incredibly lucky to have grown alongside you.

Thinking about joining Studio One’s 2027 Competition Team? ✨

This is your chance to show us what you love to do and what makes you shine as a dancer.

Your video submission can include turns, leaps, flexibility, acro and any other skills that best showcase your technical ability, performance quality and individual strengths.

Applications are being reviewed as they come in and offers are already being made, with some age groups starting to fill.

Fresh choreography, a different perspective and another opportunity to learn ✨

We loved having .j.mcmillan in the studio, working with our dancers and sharing his approach to movement and performance.

Sessions like these give our dancers the chance to experience new teaching styles, explore movement outside of their usual training and develop the adaptability that’s so important as they grow as performers.

Our dancers had the opportunity to learn from Robbie McMillan, stepping into new choreography and exploring a different creative perspective through movement.

Guest choreography sessions are an important part of developing versatile performers. They encourage our dancers to adapt to new teaching styles, challenge the way they move and continue building confidence across different styles and creative approaches.

There’s something special about watching our dancers step onto the competition stage 🤍

The nerves before the music starts. The confidence that comes from trusting their training. The feeling of walking off stage knowing they gave it everything.

These experiences teach our dancers how to perform under pressure, support one another and keep growing through every challenge.
