We'd love to introduce you to Charlene of who'll be treating our mums and bubs to an interactive and educational session.

'Hi 👋 I'm Charlene, and I'm so looking forward to meeting you all.

My family and I moved to Australia from the UK around 18 months ago. We have three children aged 12, 7 and 5.

For more than 10 years, I've had the privilege of working with babies, young children and their families.
Before moving to Australia, I ran my own baby business in the UK, creating spaces where families could come together, learn, connect and support one another. One of the most rewarding parts of my work has always been watching friendships form and confidence grow—not just for little ones, but for parents too.

These days, I run Sing, Sign + Rhyme sessions across North Brisbane and work with babies and children from just a few weeks old through to kindergarten age. My passion is helping families build connection through communication, play, songs and stories.
During our session together, I'll be introducing you to the world of babysign—a gentle and enjoyable way to support communication before speech develops.

Using key word signing based on Auslan, along with nursery rhymes, books and everyday interactions, babies can begin expressing their wants, needs and interests long before they can use words.

Whether you've heard of babysign before or it's completely new to you, I hope you'll leave feeling encouraged, empowered and with a few simple tools you can use at home with your little one.
