🎶 St Thomas’ Choirs Raise Their Voices for Reconciliation 🎶
As part of National Reconciliation Week 2026, St Thomas’ Choirs proudly took part in Voices for Reconciliation, joining choirs from across the country in song.
This year’s song, Beds Are Burning by Midnight Oil, is a powerful land rights anthem and a meaningful call to action. With the 2026 theme All In, National Reconciliation Week encourages all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation each and every day 💛🖤❤️

From beach games, kayaking and team challenges that saw students stepping into their courage zone, to singing, dancing and a fun-filled games night, there were plenty of smiles along the way. Last term, our students took part in Disability Awareness Week, building empathy and understanding through hands-on activities. They explored what it can be like to live with physical, hearing and vision impairment, and learned more about neurodiversity and mental health. A big thank you to our special visitors—Australian Paralympic athletes Gerrard Gosens and Jake Mitchel, and Wendy and Ben from Sporting Wheelies—for sharing their experiences and inspiring our community to keep championing inclusion and respect.

Our Senior Leaders have kicked off their incredible initiative with ! They packed 100 lunches, lovingly prepared by our Parish community, ready to be delivered to local schools. This is a practical way we’re living out our Gospel values —serving those in need, upholding human dignity, and working for the common good.
Can you help?
We’re looking for anyone available on a Tuesday morning to assist with delivery (or if you know someone who might be). Please get in touch.

Lest We Forget 🌺
Today, we pause to honour the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women who have served and continue to serve our communities.
ANZAC Day is a reminder of the strength that comes from unity, and the importance of remembering the stories that shaped our history.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning - we will remember them.
