Freddy Steals the Show at Holy Spirit's Paws & Pictures!

There were plenty of smiles (and wagging tails!) at Holy Spirit as our much-loved therapy dog, Freddy, spent time with our 2027 Prep children during Paws & Pictures.

Freddy was absolutely delighted to welcome our future students, who enjoyed reading him stories, sharing cuddles, and joining in some fun games. It was a beautiful way to build confidence, foster a love of reading, and help our little learners feel right at home in our school community.

Moments like these remind us of the power of connection, kindness and the joy of learning together. We think Freddy is already counting down the days until he sees his new friends again!

Congratulations to Our QC Netball Cup Teams – 2026!

We are incredibly proud of our Holy Spirit Netball teams who represented our school with such enthusiasm, teamwork and sportsmanship at the QC Netball Cup this year!

From the first whistle to the final game, our students demonstrated determination, resilience and a true team spirit. Whether celebrating victories or supporting one another through challenges, they embodied the values of our Holy Spirit community.

A heartfelt thank you to our coaches, staff and families for your ongoing support and encouragement—your commitment makes opportunities like this possible.

Well done to all players for your outstanding effort and for representing Holy Spirit with pride. You are wonderful ambassadors for our school!

Our Spirit Shines at Holy Spirit School!

Today we honour Pentecost Sunday, also known as the day marking the origin of the Catholic Church. It is 50 days following Easter and Christ's resurrection, and a commemoration of when the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles and followers, empowering them to spread the work of Jesus.

We look forward to welcoming our school community to our Holy Spirit Feast Day this Wednesday, where our students are inspired to live our Mercy Values of belonging, compassion, faith and service towards others as our Spirit continues to shine!
