What wonderful accolades from Cr. Paul Bishop on his FB page.

Had a wonderful night enjoying primary students 'Wizard of Oz' Musical Theatre collaboration between Thorneside Steiner School and Alex Hills Primary as around 50 students, teachers, principals, parents and volunteers worked with Jelli Productionz to present an outstanding show.
Every performer was deeply committed to their character and fully occupied their creative world with total commitment.
Accents were accurate and singing was delightfully authentic.
Dorothy was innocence and joy personified.
Wicked West Witch was cacklingly caustic.
Toto was the most dutiful canine companion.
The flying monkeys were 'locked-in' to their subservient devotion to Elphaba.
The munchkins danced like they had avoided a house strike.
Straw-man (while having no brain) danced like a discombobulated Fred Astaire.
Tin-man sang like a mellifluously well oiled angel.
Lion had the courage he never fully understood.
Aunty Em & the Kansas Crew had the banter of folks at home like there is no other place...
Glinda was among the wisest and most caring.
The band were exceptional.
The setting, props, costume, makeup, lighting & sound was impeccable.
Thank you all.
It was great to see some community friends and rising talents sharing a great experience together.
Viva the arts in education.
Viva l'evolution!!

Another wonderful camp on Minjerribah. Up and close with wild life and children immersed in the moment at sunset.

🌿🌿 Recently the Helen Street Bushcare group in Thorneside, teamed up with the local Steiner School for a planting day. More than 20 young students helped to plant 100 native plants along the bushland walkway.

The children learned about bush safety, local wildlife, and stewardship while exploring fungi, insects, and signs of koalas after recent heavy rains.

It was a fun and educational morning, with Helen Street volunteers inspiring the next generation of bushland stewards.πŸ’š

A highly acclaimed performance of Roald Dahl's version of Cinderella presented by all students in the school. Musical theatre at its best with coaching and design by Jelli Productionz
