Coming in the first week of September, the Fathers' Day stall for 2026 will soon be asking for volunteers.

Once we have the class visitation schedule from the school, we'll open the call out.

Volunteering at a P&C stall is always a bit of fun... helping the kids select their items, helping them with change etc. It's an easy way to give back to the kids and school community.

The stall will be from 1st to 3rd September and we're looking forward to it! Can't wait to see you there

2026 Pantry Drive is starting next week

What is it?

Pantry Drive is a call out for families to donate non-perishable items to the tuckshop pantry

Why?

To prevent price rises in the tuckshop menu and to alleviate the changing landscape of volunteer availability - a traditional model for school tuckshops to survive

What is needed?

A list of non-perishable items is posted on our website. Things like tinned goods, pasta, sauces etc

Who?

Any family or community member who is willing and able to pop an extra item into their shopping trolley for us

When?

2026 Pantry Drive kicks off next Monday 24.8.26 and will run for three (3) weeks

How to get the items to the tuckshop?

Your child can take the items to their class collection box, or else, bring them in a bag labelled with the class to the tuckshop door

See more on our website: https://sites.google.com/view/algester-ss-p-and-c/tuckshop?authuser=0 .t65zevilzz8b

Thank you all 🙏
