Creating a safe sleep environment is one of the many ways we care for children each day. From following safe sleep practices and using approved cots, to completing visual checks every 5 minutes, our educators take every step to help children rest safely and comfortably.

We also work closely with families to understand each child's individual sleep routine, because feeling safe, settled and well-rested helps children learn, grow and thrive.

💜 Safe sleep is everyone's responsibility, and it's always a priority.

🌸 **Happy Early Childhood Educators’ Day!** 🌸

Today, we celebrated the incredible educators who bring care, passion, dedication and love into our centre every single day. 💕

We wanted to make this celebration extra special by involving our little people too! Each child had the opportunity to draw a picture of their educator — a beautiful and heartfelt way for them to show just how special their educators are to them. 🥰🎨

Our educators also took the time to recognise one another by writing down some of the amazing qualities they see in their colleagues. These beautiful words of appreciation were brought together and transformed into a special gift — a meaningful reminder of the wonderful team we have around us. 💐

As a Centre Leadership Team, we were also so grateful for the opportunity to give each of our educators a small gift as a token of our appreciation.

To every educator in our centre — **thank you**. Thank you for the patience, kindness, creativity, encouragement and care you show our children each and every day. Thank you for the countless little moments that make such a big difference in the lives of our children and families.

We are incredibly grateful for everything you do and so proud to celebrate **YOU** today. ❤️

Ever had one of those "What should I be doing with my child?" moments? You might already have the answer at home.

Earlier this year, every Goodstart family received a What & When for Families guide for each child. If it's been tucked away in a drawer since then, now might be the perfect time to pull it back out.

The guide is packed with simple, play-based activities that support your child's learning and development at home. Best of all, it's written in your child's voice, with ideas tailored to their age and developmental stage.
