Our Little learners were loving role playing in caring roles today of being Doctors, Parents, teachers. It's so beautiful how they try to include all our friends in the mixed aged learning environment we have.

What a brilliant wenesday at Jess's family day care Oxley
Our little engineering Princess were hard at work today building with me (well putting together)
We read instructions and placed all the equipment out, talked about tool saftey and what the rules are regards to using tools only while adults were supporting the activities, we took turns looking at pictures and working together to piece the play equipment together. The children worked very hard screwing and holding and counting and following step to step guides.
By activitly envoling them in the process we are creating a positive self esteem on hard task, care for environment, pride in one work in working within a team.

Another fantastic arty day with the little learners this Thursday :) I love how creative our little friends are, always exploring and up for new challenges.

Days like this we need smell-a-vision.
With 4 little people in the play kitchen today, we extended the children's interest in cooking by providing a extension on their learning. We talked about what yummy treats that we could make together and using technology found a recipe online. We then took turns measuring and mixing up these beautiful cupcakes.
I think we will have some hungry adults on pick up time ready to share some treats. ❤️ ❤️

It's a Dinosaur jam!
I am just glad that there wasn't a snail crossing.
Who doesnt love a interesting play set ups the children create. Last week we had the doll house turn into a elephant house with fairies coming over for dinner.

Just one of many perfect days with the little people that come to care. With such a small group I find that I can adapt to each child's needs and interest .
