A reminder that you don't have to volunteer time to support our school. Donations to fund school resources for students can be made via QKR! We are currently sitting at $260 but would love to reach our first milestone of $500 by the end of week 8.

What a fantastic day we have had with our Book Week dress up. It was great to see so many different characters.

Our Scholastic Book Fair will be open from Monday 24 August to Friday 28 August, with lots of exciting picture books, chapter books, posters and stationery to explore!

Families are warmly invited to visit the Hub before or after school each day.

Afternoon- 2.45-3.00pm

Our Wakakirri Team did our school proud. They were awesome. We have to wait a few weeks for the final outcome. A huge thank you to Ms Kostaglou for her brilliance once again. Thanks also to Mr V and Mrs Morrell for their support. A shout out to the parents who offered their endless support. We are so proud of this team! Good luck Team Mango!

MET NORTH CHAMPIONS

After winning both the Year 5 & Year 6 Pine District Interschool Soccer Competitions, MHSS today competed against the best schools from West, Bay, City & North Districts. Results below:

Group stage position 1st
Grand Final MHSS 1 - Eatons Hill 1. Then 2-2 after extra time!
MHSS won after a penalty shootout!

Grand Final MHSS 3 - McDowall 2

This is the first time ever that MHSS has won both the Year 5 & Year 6 Met North Championships! And both teams did it the hard way. Year 5s went down twice in the grand final. Year 6s were down 2-0 at half time.

We are so proud of the resilience shown to never give up. Both teams will now go and try to be crowned the best school in South East QLD! Go Team Mango!
