📚💙 We have had so much fun with our Pre-Kindy Speld QLD book pack!

The books encouraged conversations about self-identity, celebrating who we are, our bodies, our hair, and the things that make each of us unique. We enjoyed reading the stories together and creating some special drawings to send back to Douglas Bear. 🎨🐻

We packed everything into the reply post bag and popped it into the post box, ready to make its way back to Douglas. 📮

A big thank you to Kindy Speld QLD for providing such a wonderful program that supports early literacy while encouraging children to build confidence, celebrate diversity, and develop a love of reading. ❤️📖

🧪🌋 Lava Lamp & Exploding Lava Science! 🌋🧪
Our children had an absolute blast getting hands-on with science! They joined in with some exciting lava lamp experiments and an exploding lava science experiment, watching reactions happen right before their eyes. 🤩

There were lots of opportunities to predict, observe, ask questions and discover what happens when different ingredients come together.

Science is always more fun when we can get messy, curious and hands-on! 🔬✨

🎨🌿 Big painting outdoors is a wonderful way for children to learn, create, and explore!

Painting on a large scale encourages creativity, strengthens fine and gross motor skills, supports hand-eye coordination, and gives children the freedom to express themselves. Outdoor art also inspires imagination, builds confidence, and provides a fun sensory experience while enjoying the fresh air.

Every brushstroke is an opportunity for children to create, discover, and learn through play! 💚✨

We’ve teamed up again this month with OzHarvest Queensland to donate any leftover food to people in need. 💚

We’re proud to play our part in reducing food waste while helping support those in our community who need it most.

🌟🎪 Gardenia EKKA! 🎪🌟
What a wonderful day of fun, creativity and imagination at Gardenia Early Learning! 💚

Our children created their very own EKKA show bags, filling them with handmade treasures and adding their own colourful artwork. 🛍️🎨

We also explored our very own farm-themed sensory play, with animals, hay, baskets and lots of opportunities for imaginative play. 🐄🐖🐎🌾

The children loved creating, exploring and experiencing the excitement of the EKKA right here at Gardenia! 🎡✨

A big thank you to our wonderful educators for creating such a fun and memorable experience for the children. 💚

Created by our wonderful Teacher, Miss Shantel and our Pre-Kindy children. This special space celebrates the joy of reading and community. We also love welcoming our past children back after school to share stories with our little learners. 💚📖
